Perfect place to stay while on business
The staff effectively removed any travel or logistics concerns which allowed me to focus on business. The location of the hotel is convenient to some of the best restaurants and museums in Mexico City. If you have time between appointments, no problem the hotel has plenty of spaces which are conducive for quiet planning and working or for people watching.

Although there are wonderful restaurants inside the hotel, across the street there are wonderful dining venues. The Polanco area is very safe and most places have security outside.

So So!
the hotel is very well situated, but the service is bad. First the day that we arrived we didn't have a room until late. Then in room sheets were dirty and the next day they didn't change them. I had to call to make sure they change it.

Good experience.
The Intercontinental Presidente Mexico City is ideally located in Polanco. I had a room on the 22nd floor with a lovely view of the National Stadium and adjacent parks. The room was very comfortable and met my expectations. The architectural style of the hotel is iconic and expansive. It has plenty of fine dining options as well. I do recommend this hotel especially to the business traveler, and this seems to be the target guest for this particular hotel. There are a lot of business suits in this hotel, and the staff is quite formal and polite, though a touch too coldly detached for my taste. If you are looking for something more hip, or more boutique-style, there are other excellent options in Mexico City in both Polanco and La Condesa. I should also mention that I found such an exceptional price offer [...]that I could not say no, even though this is not my typical style of hotel.

the curious traveler
very pleased with El Presidente
very professional staff. spacious room with king bed and beautiful view of the city from the 25th floor. The bed, sheets, comforter were very comfortable and I had great sleep. Bathroom is clean. The lobby is elegant and grand. There's live music at night sung by two beautiful singers. Two upscale restaurants - Zhen and the Palms. good breakfast buffet although a bit expensive at 300 pesos. Well equipped business centers with Internet and printers. My only complaint is no internet in the room.
