Beautiful grounds
Hacienda Vista Real was a very beautiful resort. The grounds were gorgeous. The only complaint was that it was too cold with the air conditioning on. We had to turn it off in the evening. The temperature stayed cool all night, though, because of all the marble in the room.

What a great spa
This is the perfect hotel for those looking for a small, luxurious alternative to an all-inclusive resort. Our single room was really nice. The spa attached to the hotel, which you get access to, is simply amazing. The staff in the spa, at the hotel and in the restaurants were all very friendly, always letting us take our time during meals and helping wherever they could. The food was great, too! All in all, very highly recommended. We'd go back in a second.

Playa Del Carmen Dive & Explore Nov 2010
Hacienda Vista Real is outstanding. Interesting location in Playacar. Great staff. Rooms were perfect. Breakfast was complete. Playa has everything. Restaurants. Shopping. Diving. Snorkeling. And a good place to set off from to explore Mexico.

Fantastic Getaway
Great Hotel! Everything was sooo clean, nice, put together! The hotel staff was great! The pool was beautiful and the breakfast was delicious! And if you wanted to have something to eat and the restaurant was already close, they had a list of restaurants that they call and bring the food to the hotel. It couldn't get any better!

5ta Avenida (on of the best shopping "places" in Playa del Carmen) was really close to the hotel. You can either take a long walk or a short drive.

Fantastic!
This is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing time. We absolutely loved it. The hotel is extremely luxurious in a rustic-mexican way. Do not miss going to "los Cenotes" and, if you can, catch a sailing boat, enjoy a sea you'll wont find anywhere else! The hotel's breakfast is very complete and you can also enjoy it inside the pool benches. We went in March-April. I heard that from May till August the heat is terrible. The only bad part is that you need a car to go to the beach, or walk more than a half hour going and another coming back, under the sun, with your towels and everything is not that fun... Perfect for a family meeting.

Best kept secret in Playa del Carmen
Incredible rooms and suites. Wonderful staff and attention especially from Hotel Manager [...]. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Playa del Carmen and wish to go back to this hotel for many years to come! We spent the second week of our honeymoon here and could not have picked a better location. Rooms are quiet, peaceful, relaxing, magestic! Thank you also to [...] for making our stay unforgettable!!!!

Just pefect
We stayed at Ambassador suite.Very nice hotel,clean and huge rooms,beautiful grounds.Very friendly staff.Great breakfast,every day something new.Recomend to rent a car.Very easy to walk to town-20min or easy drive - few minutes.

Awesome Getaway!!!
We stayed for a week in a very beautiful,pleasant and spotless room. It is a very peaceful place,feels very exclusive.It is also very close to Fifth Av. I loved their daily Breakfast Buffet by the pool and lake. I totally appreciated how they change it up with a variety of Delicious food. But the best of ALL is the staff by the pool area,the Manager Servando was very professional,polite,friendly and dedicated to his job,he creates an atmosphere that makes your stay all the more enjoyable.(You won't regret meeting him). Awesome Customer Service!!! I will totally go back to this hotel!!!
