Sophisticated Luxury with Exceptional Value. Casa Cupula is one of the world's most luxurious gay boutique hotel resorts. Exclusively for gay men, lesbians and friends of our community, we are located in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
Casa Cupula offers the services and amenities of a five star resort, only in a more intimate, gay hotel setting. Spoil yourself with gourmet food, tempting cocktails, four pools and a gym in 14 luxurious rooms and 6 suites all with unique, sophisticated interior design. We are located within easy walking distance of the gay beach in PV ("Blue Chairs"), as well all the gay bars, restaurants and cafes of our "Zona Romantica" or "Olas Altas" neighborhood.

Dining at Casa Cupula: Under the supervision of Chef Elliot Gallagher, Casa Cupula offers gourmet dining to please any palate. Whether it's a gourmet dinner for two at sunset, or a buffet of Mexican tacos with all the trimmings, Elliot and his able Chef Jose Luis Ponce, can rise to the challenge.
Gourmet Breakfasts: Every guest at Casa Cupula enjoys a robust "Continental" breakfast including coffee and juice, fresh tropical fruitplate with yogurt and granola and pastry. That's enough for a lot of folks, but hot gourmet menus will probably entice you to order more.
Theme Nights: Whether it's a selection of Spanish Tapas or one of our fabulous 4 course gourmet Prix Fixe dinners, there's always something going on during our "high season".
Special Diets: Vegan? Lactose intolerant? Low carb? Gluten-free? Low cal? Food allergies? No alcohol? Whatever you need, we'll take care of it. Just be sure to let us know in advance when you fill out your Guest Preference Survey before you come down. We'll make sure you get not only something within your diet, but something that will surprise you that it could be on your diet!
Cocktails!: A pitcher of Margaritas made the Casa Cupula way: with only 100% Pure Agave Tequila and freshly squeezed limes, is always a great way to start your vacation. Whether it's a cool slushy Daquiri or a dry Martini, or a special bottle of wine, Casa Cupula's Bar will make sure you never run dry.

- The Deluxe Queen Rooms offer a more economical yet luxurious way to enjoy Casa Cupula. While a bit more cozy than our standard rooms, you can spread out and enjoy an incredible 180 degree view of Puerto Vallarta or of the Bay of Bandaras from shared covered terraces. This plus the view of the gardens, fountain and access to the gym has made the Deluxe Queen rooms favorites of many guests. Two Deluxe Queen rooms are located on the Owner's Villa property a few steps from the Casa, while the third is located on Villa Sevilla's second floor. - Greenbelt Jr Suite
- A uniquely tropical experience awaits you in this suite which lies on the Greenbelt Terrace surrounding the Private Residences. The Suite has 800 sq ft. Designed by Architect Rene Ortiz in a modern Mexican style, this suite feels warm and comforting from the moment you enter. The loft-style bedroom with king-size bed is separated by huge sliding doors with onyx panels, so the whole space can be joined loft-style. The great room includes breakfast bar, living room, kitchenette with stainless steel appliances and granite counters, smooth ceramic cooktop, microwave and a frig. Enjoy a movie on the Home Theater system with 37" LCD Screen. Cocktails or a private dinner made ensuite, or simply enjoy the tropical breezes and ocean view. Plus a pullout full bed for sharing. The bathroom features a shower for two with inlaid stone and handcut onyx trim. A full custom-designed double sink and vanity plus WC are decked out in onyx trim. A hidden hideaway
I had an amazing stay at Casa Cupula! Upon arrival the staff greeted me and were extremely helpful and friendly. They were willing to quickly solve any problems or answer any questions that I may have had. I have to give a special note to Marcos and Francisco for being so knowledgeable about the hotel itself and the surrounding area. Also a special note to Sabas aka "Delicious" for being so friendly and going the extra mile to make sure I had everything I needed. Casa Cupula is a hidden hideaway that's in close proximity to the beach and all the gay bars and restaurants. I will definitely return to Puerto Vallarta to stay at Casa Cupula!

Entertainment tip:
Short walk from hotel
Make sure you check out the Anonimo Bar. It's a gay and tourist friendly bar that offers cheap drink specials and friendly service. The owner is American and his staff are a handful of characters. I would classify the Anonimo Bar as the "Cheers" of Puerto Vallarta. You must visit!

terrific oasis
Super friendly staff, very casual but respectful. Some people warn about the walk - it's a VERY short walk to the beach, and nice to be away from the loud crowds. Tina, the concierge (manager?) is terrific and full of good advice. Strongly recommend, and we'll most likely go back. Restaurant is v good too.

Honeymoon in Mexico
We went to PV for our honeymoon. Our room was very large with a spacious covered, outdoor, veranda that overlooked Banderas Bay and the beautiful sunsets. The room had a surround sound system to play our ipods and the bathroom had a huge, mexican-tiled, sunken shower. The staff were ultra friendly and the restaurant on site "Taste" was one of the best meals we had in PV. Also, the on site gym was hands down the best I've ever had in a guest house or hotel. Every room is unique and very nicely decorated. The location affords amazing views from its mountainside location although the walk into the town center is down a steep hill and a two block walk along a curving highway without pedestrian sidewalks. Our air conditioning unit was a little noisy and had a tough time keeping up with the hot PV days in low season but we would not hesitate to spend our next PV vacation at Casa Cupula.

Beautiful Setting and Amazing Staff!
From the moment that we checked in, the staff was amazing. The hotel itself offers amazing charm and wonderful amenities and again the staff definitely sets the standard in customer service. The location was conveniant to the beach, downtown, shopping and evening entertainment. This was our first trip to Puerto Vallarta and we will definitely be returning. If you are looking for an amazing value, good location, superb staff and boutique charm along with very modern amenities, this is the place for you!

Gay Couple
AWESOME gay hotel!
The staff is awesome as is this hotel. It's very unique and every room is different. The staff greets you at the taxi upon arrival, helps with any questions, complimentary drinks, food, etc. Beautiful views of Puerto Vallarta. The beach is a 10 minute walk. There was nothing we could have asked for more. Whether you are a group of gay friends or couple you will love the atmosphere. Also the place has DVD players in each room and excellent WIFI! Remember those 2 things!

Quiet,fantastic staff, location!!!!
The view of the Pacific was fantastic. The staff-go Tina and Oscar were amazing. Oliver was super helpful. The whole atmosphere of the hotel was conducive to a great time. The location was peaceful, but the fabulous attractions were within walking distance. 5 stars.

Paradise Found @ Casa Cupula
Casa Cupula is a class act. Everything about it exemplifies excellence. The staff, the rooms, the pools, restaurant and common areas, and the other guests. If you want to boat or zip line or go on an excursion, the concierge is awesome. We have stayed here multiple times and already booked our next visit before we left. It is like heaven on earth. The rooms and grounds are so nice you don't want to leave them. When you do leave, it is a very short walk to old town PV or the Blue Chairs area. Thank you to the whole Casa Cupula team for creating an oasis for us.

Don't let the name Daquiri Dick's turn you off. It is an excellent restaurant. Ask to sit outside, there is a lovely view.
