The hotel was very nice and in a good location in the centre of the city with lots of action around. The food in the hotel was not the best and so that is why I could not give it a 5 star rating....and we are very seasoned travellers. The staff was friendly and spoke English well, and were helpful and nice. The room was nicely appointed and had an in room safe which worked and the shower was fabulous with great pressure. The price was right and we enjoyed our stay there, if, of course, you need to be in Casablanca...which quite frankly is just another big city and has none of the charm and wonderful sites and magic of either Fez or Marrakech.

1. The room smells.
2. Too hot and A/C was not good and we could sleep for two nights. Then on the 2nd day we decided to cut our 5 days trip short and leave the country. This cost us more that $2000 (between airfares, 2 nights in hotel and waste of vacation time (priceless)).

Good hotel, people were very professional was not very happy that we had to pay city taxes, we were not expecting that extra cost.
Rooms were very clean, excellent bed and mattress, we loved the duvet on the bed, makes you fall asleep right away.
The only bad thing was that it was ramadan period and its not a good time to visit. We could not eat anything on the streets during the day.

Trip to Morocco was memorable. Room was nice and roomy but, the heat was imbearable. A/c broken. ATM problems from day one. Must pay additional hotel taxes on check-out. Location was great for bus station to other cities. Manager , Mr Zeitune(SP) and a conceirge were great to us. Overall great experience, but would try another hotel.

Good enough for business travelers

Staff is very friendly and nice, maybe a little abrupt at times (light out at the bar when you're still having a drink).
The rooms could be a little cleaner, but the damage is having finger marks on windows, nothing nasty.
Location is great, breakfast gets old.

The city was OK. I expected more. It's actually a very dirty city and if you're a female, expect to be harrassed. The hotel staff was not very knowledgable of the city, which is odd and English was not a language many spoke. But aside from that, the hotel was very good.

Modern and clean with a friendly staff. My original room had an electrical issue and they upgraded me to one of their suites as a result. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the place is nice, with spectacular views of the city.

I've stayed in that hotel a couple of times. It has an excellent location. Internet connection is rather expensive (around $30/day). Good yet expensive food. Some of the staff members had an attitude!

This villa was built in 1953 by the parents of the present incumbent. It is located just to the east of the Habbous, the famous traditional district of the economic capital as well as the setting for the Royal Palace. The Royal Palace covers an area of several hectares enclosed by five meters high ochre walls pierced by splendid chased bronze door, making a beautiful picture with the guards in their gold and red uniforms bringing to mind the celebrated city. Nous avons séjourné au Jnane Sherazade début octobre et avons été enchantés.
Les propriétaires sont attentifs à satisfaire nos désirs et curiosité sur la ville.
Le cadre est très agréable.
Le restaurant marocain mérite amplement l'appellation "gastronomique".
Le personnel est sympathique et aux petits soins, sans être pesant.
Le ptit déj sur la terrasse avec vue sur le jardin, génial !

The hotel was in a quiet, residential area, surrounded by a lovely garden. The room was beautiful, as seen in the website. My only complaint was breakfast. I thought that 120 Dirham (about $15) for coffee and cold scones was a little pricey. I could have walked a few blocks to the Habbous Quarter and had a fabulous breakfast for a fraction of the price. The presentation was lovely, and the staff was very attentive, but I would suggest having breakfast elsewhere.

This is a very nice hotel which has been taken over by the Kenzi chain and entirely renovated. It offers a good standard and a warm atmosphere. AK 02/11 The building is a modern eight-floor block with Moroccan style. The hotel Kenzi Basma is located in the city centre a few minutes walking distance from the main city attractions and shopping and restaurant area.

Very clean. Very noisy. There's a traffic lights right in front of the hotel and even with your windows shut you can hear the horns 24 hrs.
For the price you pay that's a shame.

This hotel is conveniently located in central Casablanca. You can easily get around to most of the attractions around the medina or the old town. Though this hotel is located along the port, we were unable to see the ocean. The port is lined with fishing boats, tall ships, containers, equipment and pollution, therefore it looks rather unsightly. It was extremely noisy and the windows were broken. We were woken at 4 am with the blaring horns and screeching tires. The rooms were not very clean, and it also smells cigar. You get harassment from the locals walking on the street. However, people in Casablanca are not as bad when compared to other parts of Morocco.

This property is well suited for business as it is very close to the city centre. JMG 06/07 It is modern and 10 floors high. The hotel is situated in one of the main streets of Casablanca called Idou Anfa, which is known to be one of the busiest streets in town.

The hotel was clean and had several restaurants and bars. It was normal. It is about 30 minutes from the airport. The cab ride to the airport was not pleasant. The hotel did order a car for us to go back to the airport and it was much nicer. The hotel did not have wi-fi in the rooms. Smoking is allowed everywhere- which was not pleasant for a non smoker. The staff was friendly, the food was good. For a long layover or 1 night it was fine. I wouldn't go back but I would pass it along to someone if they had never been there. For a clean, safe hotel, for 1 night it was fine.

Right next to the train station. I flew to Casablanca airport, took a train from the airport to the hotel in the city. I spend the night at the hotel, which was right next to the station, then took a train the next day to Fez. I will do the same when I return home. The bed was comfy and altho I could see the trains from my window, it was not noisy. Wi-fi works great in the halls, but not in your room. There's a thermostat that you can control in the room. The room is very small.

The hotel location was great. Right next to train station. Good placement for your next move if traveling about Morocco. Staff was great and so was maid service. Nice court yard with pool. Reasonably priced. Will stay at this chain while moving around Morocco.

The staff was not very friendly as we didn't speak French-snobby, not tolerant. Room not clean. Whole hotel dirty. Huge hole in dining room wall. Extremely loud in room-on busy street. Will never stay here again and would definitely recommend to anyone. I thougth hotel was on the water, but it was very hard to get to the water. Had to go around delapidated buildings to get to a nasty beach.

Localización en la playa pero alejado de la zona mas activa. Tan solo McDonalds enfrente.
No me dan la habitación reservada: doble superior vista al mar, sino en la trasera. Al pedir cambio me dan sencilla vista al mar con aire acondicionado estropeado y terrible olor en el baño. Al segundo cambio me dan lo solicitado en la reserva por fin.
Hay una discoteca en el hotel. Imposible dormir hasta bien entrada la madrugada.
Restaurante en el hotel, Le Relais du Paris, fantástico. merece la pena visitar aunque no se aloje en el hotel.
En check out tienen que repetir la factura tres veces ya que no tienen en cuenta los precios y prepagos de [website].

Ett hotell med en klar ambition att vara inne och trendigt och upplevas som superattraktivt för de väl bemedlade i Casablanca. Mot den bakgrunden känns hotellet väldigt pretentiöst för en vanlig europeisk budgetresenär. Priserna i hotellets barer och restauranger är skyhögt över landets normala kostnadsnivå. Hotellets läge vid Cornichen tilltalar också främst den lokala överklassen, men opraktiskt för den som vill se lite av Casablanca.
