We stayed in a junior suite, which was lovely. Location very good with walking distance (approx. 20 min.) to the medina (old city/souk area). Very pricy menu. If staying there at peak seasons you have to get up eary in the morning to "secure" sunbeds. Helpful staff, however it takes time to get someone to take your orders by the pool or to have things fixed/missing towels etc. in your rooms replaced. Good value for money when booking early.

Very efficient and convenient Dellarosa

Hotel Dellarosa is very close to the main tourist attractions. Although it is not a very big hotel, its rooms are reasonable size and with good room facility. The staff are very helpful and efficient. The hair dryer in our room did not work and they sent the engineer to fix it the same night I reported it. However, the swimming pool is too small and not really swimmer friendly. The food choice during breakfast was very limited and ran out quite early too.

Just enjoyed 6 days at this hotel over New Year and thought it was overall very good. Few small complaints, ie night time noise from staff moving furniture around during the night in preparation for business seminars the next day but to be honest this was outweighed by the rest of hotel.
Def not 5 star standard but probably meets 4 star UK standards. Make good use of the mini bus into Marrakech, very good prompt service that drops you off right by the main square.

A very nice hotel

I was nervous after reading some of the reviews on here but we had a lovely time at the Kenzi Menara palace. Friendly greeting with a welcoming glass of mint tea. Helpful staff (although sometimes there was a language barrier).
We were in one of the standard rooms so the view was not great from our balcony but the room was very large, spacious and clean. The bathroom was the same with a separate shower cubicle and very large bath.
Breakfast was also nice with a chef on hand to make your eggs as you would like it. Overall we were very happy with our stay.
The only down side for some may be the location. We thought it was great being able to get away from the hustle and bustle of the main square. But this does mean that you need to jump in a taxi, which involves bartering for a while to get a reasonable price, and this can be exhausting.
We would recommend this hotel and we would go back.

a great hotel for a family holiday with spotless spacy suites. The hotel is really new and the staff tries their best to offer a good service. A negative is that you can only enter the spa if you pay for certain treatments (so no free access for hotel guests). Tea and coffee is offered in the room but for each teabag you are charged 4 euros!!

The hotel lies in the area between the Airport (10 minutes by taxi) and the city center (5 minutes) packed with big hotels. Outstanding swimming pool and great breakfast buffet. Both the Moroccan and the Italian restaurant are worth of a visit.

Once upon a time, a wealthy art trader of Marrakesh and father of seven daughters, whose name was Youssef Ben Ali, used to host in this house passing by artists and craftsmen travelling to the red town to sell their artworks. Here he could look at, assess and eventually buy several pieces of art. Youssef Ben Ali, who had prematurely lost his wife, educated alone his daughters into studies, respect, tolerance, generosity and hospitality. Old Youssef Ben Ali assigned one room of the riad to each daughter. The rooms were transformed into small worshps where they could freely express their creativity. The riad became a renowned meeting point for artists and travellers, the echo of which reached the borders of deserts and seas. Today, the hosts Giorgina Cattaneo and Massimo Tumiotto, inspired by the history of the Riad Le Clos des Arts, are offering you an authentic and private Moroccan hideaway, with the same kind of warmth and unforgettable hospitality offered in the past to those artists and travellers in search of a peaceful and charming place where to rest.

There are a thousand and one Riads in Marrakech and choosing one to make the most of your stay can be a daunting and tiresome task. We are all different, like different things and want different things from a Riad, Marrakech and Morocco. If you want a Riad that is welcoming, relaxing, comfortable and in an excellent location that is what you will get with the Riad le Clos des Arts. This was a beautiful riad, a short stroll from the central square and all the fab shopping. The staff were very attentive and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was delicious and we had one evening meal with them which didnt have any choices but was fantastic morrocan cuisine.

Bon hotel , bien situé, on va à pied aussi bien à la Menara, qu'aux Souks ou au Gueliz.La déception: la piscine chauffée n'est accessible qu'au prix de dix euros par jour, je la croyais gratuite.Aucun renseignement n'a été donné sur les 3 restaurants, aucune carte ne figurant nulle part.Le resto buffet du soir, pas raffiné mais très varié, est quand même à 20 euros + boissons...Bodéjeuner.n buffet pour le petit

The distance from the centre was an easy 20min walk, and as the hotel is quiet and very peaceful in the pretty gardens, this suited us really well. The outside pool was a bit too cool to swim in, in late November, but the sun warm enough to laze outside till 3pm.
Very few children when we stayed.
We ate several times at the hotel Moroccan restaurant where the food was very good and a good price, and the service excellent (as was the belly dancer).

View from 4th floor window in East building gave lovely sun in the evening.

Nous n'avons pas été déçu par les équipements techniques et le confort de cet hôtel (bon standing). Il est idéal pour un séjour familiale toutefois méfiez vous des chambres donnant sur la piscine car la vue y est certes magnifique mais on y entend en contrepartie, le soir, le DJ du mini bar jusqu'à 1h du matin.
Gros bémol également pour la nourriture qui n'est pas vraiment couleur locale (réadaptation européenne pas probante), pas terrible, et au fil des jours toujours un peu la même. Petit Dej en revanche très sympa. Pour finir cet hôtel est bien situé car à 10min en voiture du centre (environ 20 dirhams soit 2 euros le taxi) ce qui est pratique pour aller faire des visites. Mini club hôtel très pratique pour les enfants. En bref nous avons dans l'ensemble, passé un bon séjours.

Hotel is a 10 minute taxi ride from the Medina, but no other way of getting downtown. There were no local supermarkets. The large pool is in a green palm tree garden setting, and is well attended. The food is OK, but for B&B guests, the extras (bottled water and buffet lunches) are fairly expensive. The rooms look a bit tired, but are clean and spacious. The staff are helpful. The guests are mainly French, so the hotel caters more to this language than to English speakers.

Plus qu'agréablement surprise par cet hôtel, style épuré, excellente exploitation de l'espace. Je le conseille vivement et surtout déjeuner au Skybar au 6ème étage sur de grandes banquettes blanches sous une pergola de fleurs et plantes vertes et s'allonger sur place pour faire sa sieste. Le personnel est aussi compétent que serviable et agréable à regarder.
Je retournerai à Marrakech rien que pour l'hôtel et son atmosphère.

Meals are provided in the dining room, or on the terrace where you can relax by the pool.The Riad has three lounge areas. The music room, adjoining the courtyard, is a tranquil and relaxing space with a grand piano and a variety of musical instruments. The main sitting room has comfortable informal seating around a beautiful fireplace that is lit during the winter months. There is a Hi-Fi, I-Pod charger and a wide variety of English books and games for all ages. The Bhou is on the first floor. Here you can relax and quietly read a book, or enjoy a drink or two. Alternatively the heated roof top pool and shaded berber tent on the terrace are firm favourites with guests.A masseuse can come to the riad, or the staff can arrange a local hammam or luxury spa facility depending on your preference and budget. The hotel can arrange car hire, excursions, local guides and reservations at local restaurants/golf clubs etc. The hotel is not licensed to sell alcohol, but you can buy this locally or have it delivered to the riad for personal use. The hotel can arrange transfers with english speaking drivers to take you directly to the riad, where you will be welcomed by Aiden the English manager. In addition to Aidan and Saida, Najia, Leila & Moushine make up their dedicated team who work hard to ensure your stay is unforgettable.
The hotel offers free breakfast to its guest.

Really is a quiet haven in a busy city...

Staying at the 3 Mages was exceptionally relaxing. The staff there perform better than any 5-star hotel I've ever stayed at. They'll get you anything you need at any time, want a snack? done. Want some mint tea? done (and amazingly delicious too). Breakfast? Fresh squeezed orange juice, hot croissants, yogurt, toast, delicious jam, etc. Marrakech may be a crazy city, but you wouldn't know it inside this riad.
Our room was great, actually much larger than the photos on the web make it look. If ever I return to Marrakech, there will be no looking for a place to stay.
Walk to the market is relatively short, 10-15 min once you get used to the streets. The staff also volunteered several times to walk us anywhere in the city since we were newbies. They did provide us with maps and highlighted the easiest walking routes to take when trying to get anywhere. I might add that the hotel manager Aidan is amazingly helpful, beyond comparison!
Food at the riad is excellent, we ate lunch and it was probably the best food we had while we were in Marrakech. Wish we had eaten dinner there as well. Let them know ahead of time (night before) as the staff will go out shopping that day for ingredients for your meal.
Don't forget, there is a pool and cabana area on the roof, great after a day of walking around in 110 degree heat!

Ce Riad est fort bien aménagé et situé, même s'il est difficile à localiser (mais dans la Médina, il y a peu d'adresse simple et facile à trouver).
Riad confortable, tout près des souks, de la place et des principaux lieux touristiques de la ville.
Accueil fort sympathique, chambres fort bien décorées, terrasse sympa. Un bon souvenir

Riad Radia is an architectural master-piece, with a breathtaking terrace view, a warm and friendly staff, and delicious home-made authentic Moroccan recipes. It is located in the heart of the historic Medina and is within a 5-minute walk to the famous Jamaa Elfna square. It would be hard to beat such a bargain given its location, service and sheer architectural beauty!

The Riad Karmela, 8 mn from Djemaa El Fnaa, is located right in the heart of the old Medina, only 2 minutes walk from the entrance of the Souks (market) and also 2 minutes from the Museum of Marrakech and the Medersa Ben Youssef. You will appreciate the calm and the elegance of that large Riad which has just been renovated. Enjoy a plunge pool in the Patio in the shadow of the Orange trees or relax in the traditional hamam after an exciting shopping day in the Souks. There is also a large terrace with a solarium and a lounge area and you can have a dip in the terrace Jacuzzi in the warm days. You will enjoy the view on the Atlas Mountains or all around the Riad, the roofs of the old Medina of Marrakech. (Unfortunately due to the configuration of the Riad and for safety reason, kids are not allowed under 4 )The 19 Bedrooms The Riad Karmela offers eight bedrooms (double beds or two single beds), nine Junior Suites nicely decorated (one has also a private balcony). I stayed here this past August with my fiance for four nights and it was wonderful! If you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place to go to! The staff were very nice and friendly, willing to do anything to make you happy. The pool is great for the hot weather and most of the guests stayed there during the day. So if you want to get a lounge chair, get there early to reserve your favorite spot for tanning. Also, the rooms are very charming and clean. They all look out to the pool. Breakfast every morning was breads, jams, tea(if you want mint tea you need to ask), coffee, cereal, eggs, pancakes and a lot more! Enjoy your stay. Im going to stay here again this February.
