Riu Tikida Palmeraie All Inclusive

Could not fault anything. Staff could not do enough for you. Hotel and gardens were immaculate. Always a sunbed available. Food was nice and there was a decent variety. I would definately go back again for a mini break or a week, after that I would get bored as we didnt like going out, everywhere you went there were people trying to rip you off or begging. Monkeys on leads which we found quite upsetting! But as a break lying in the sun it is a perfect getaway!

WE have just returned from 5 days at the hotel. After having 2 nights in the Medina this was a welcome break away from the hectic centre. This was the first time my boyfriend and I had tried an all inclusive hotel and we weren't disappointed. On some occasions the food could have been hotter (The Italian Restaurant in particular) but the range available was excellent. The staff were wonderful, they couldn't do enough for you and always had a smile. Our only complaints were that the outdoor pool was FREEZING (but it was March after all!) and that the cocktails were pre-made and sometimes didn't even taste like what you expected them to! In general - it was great. We had a wonderful time & we would definitely go back.

Cannot fault this hotel in Magical Marrakech. Amazing value. Amazing staff. Amazing location with courtesy bus to and back from Medina. Spoil yourself in the spa too - you're worth it :). We will return One Day.

This Is a little gem in North Africa. We had reservations about going to Morocco with 2 young children (3&5), but once we arrived at our resort we were amazed at what a great place Marrakech and the Riu Tikida Palmeraie really is. The staff simply can not do enough for you. The Variety of food and quality of food is exceptional and we really enjoyed it. We had a week here and it was perfect. Kids club for our 5 year old was brilliant and she simply had a great time, the lady there (mi mi) was outstanding with the children. The indoor pool was perfect as sadly the cold snap had impacted on the outdoor pool and we could not swim in it, just too cold. The weather was very good 16-20 every day (09 Feb-16 Feb) AND NO RAIN. It does get chilly in the evenin g, so bring a few light long sleeve tops. For us, with a young family for a week break in Feb, this was a fantastic find. I know it wont bet everyone's cup of tea, but I can not fault it in any way. Located approx 25mins from RAK Menera Airport, we did not visit Marrakech town, but the hotel does offer a free shuttle bus service. Thanks to all the staff at Riu Tikida, especially Mi Mi and Hoishaim for a great week. I know we will go back again.
