Trendy and comfortable four stars hotel, located on the official border of the city centre. Spectacularly renovated with Dutch Design in a 19th century monumental building. In Amsterdam, Hotel Arena is a household name, a favourite among national and international business people and leisure guests as well as Amsterdammers. Built in an old orphanage. The facilities of Hotel Arena consist of 116 rooms, an inviting all-day bar for drinks, snacks and lunches, intimate restaurant with quality dishes and wines but also incentive meeting rooms and a leading nightclub featuring popular programming in the weekends. The heart of Amsterdam is just 5 tram stops or under 10 cab minutes away. The hotel is situated in a quiet residential part of the capital and within walking distance of Oosterpark, Artis Zoo, Royal Tropical institute and Royal Theatre Carre. Hotel Arena is also within easy reach of the Amsterdam nightlife and entertainment, business, university and shopping areas, museums and sightseeing hotspots. The interiors are decorated with shades of white that - together with lighting - create an intimate atmosphere. The contrast of historical elements and Dutch design is emphasised through these white rooms and black bathrooms. Mittelklassehotel

Die Zimmer sind nicht schalldicht. Wurden 2 Nächte durch laute Stimmen und Geräusche aufgeweckt.

Besondere Atmosphäre

Wir waren von der schönen Hotelanlage ziemlich beeindruckt. Das Hotel grenzt an einen großen öffentlichen Park an. Unser Zimmer (Studio) war im Dachgeschoß, sehr ruhig und sauber. Alle Bereiche sind modern und elegant gestaltet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich aber nicht aufdringlich. Man kann am Vormittag spontan entscheiden, ob man ein kleines, ein großes oder kein Frühstück nehmen will. Mit der Straßenbahn ist man schnell im Zentrum.

Tolles Hotel - wir kommen wieder

Wir waren als Paar ein Wochenende in Amsterdam und haben uns in dem Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt. Unser Zimmer war zwar klein, aber durch die ca 6 Meter hohe Decke und die zweite Ebene gut durchdacht und zum Wohlfühlen. Alles ist gepflegt und sieht noch neu aus. Der Mix aus altem Ambiente und neuem Disign ist perfekt gelungen. Die Hotelbar lud uns gleich am ersten Abend zum bleiben ein. Dort sind auch nicht nur Hotelgäste, sondern auch "Einheimische" anzutreffen. Besonders toll war der Club, der in der alten Kirche an einigen Abenden im Monat existiert. Dort konnten wir ohne Eintritt (sonst 15 Euro) gut tanzen. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und der Kaffee ist gut. Die 15,50 € pro Person war uns das wert. Teuer ist der Parkplatz für 25 € pro Tag. Allerdings ist das ein normaler Preis für Amsterdam. Auf der Straße zahlt man sogar 36 € am Tag!! Beim nächsten mal werden wir bestimmt wieder in das Hotel reisen, aber vielleicht mit der Bahn anreisen. Die Lage ist direkt bei der Uni und wir konnten alle Sachen zu Fuß erreichen. Ansonsten fährt auch direkt die Straßenbahn.

Bei der Uni gibt es einen Italiener (italienisch-türkische Küche), der leckere Pizza macht. Name: El Torino

Uitstekend hotel

Hotel Arena ligt vlakbij het Oosterpark en is per tram 7 en 10 goed bereikbaar. Als je in de binnenstad verblijft en de laatste tram rijdt niet meer (rond 00:00 uur) dan kost een taxi tussen de €10,- en €15,-. Goed te doen dus. Van binnen is het Hotel luxe en stijlvol en de kamers zijn ronduit schitterend. Het personeel is ook perfect. Dit hotel raad ik aan voor zakenreizigers, (kortstondige) stelletjes, clubbers (de club van Hotel Arena is in het weekend geopend), mensen die niet in het lawaai van de pleinen willen zitten. Overall: sjiek en goed georganiseerd. Klein minpunt: inchecktijd 15:00.

Hotel Arena is vanaf AMsterdam CS (of Duivendrecht) goed per metro bereikbaar: Weesperplein -> overrstappen op lijn 7 of10, één ha;te, en klaar. Met de tram vanaf CS duurt aanzienlijk langer.

Very clean and great room and

Very clean and great room and not far from bus/metro station. But it takes 10-20mins if walking with a big luggage like me since the road is not flat enough. Not much service thought, I couldn't get my food heats up when I asked for help from the front desk. Except that, great staying experience and will recommend and willing to stay again.

緑があってとてもよい環境でした。便利な駅からはやや遠く感じた

緑があってとてもよい環境でした。便利な駅からはやや遠く感じたのと、スーパーマーケットからもやや遠かったのが残念でしたが、室内は快適です。庭も素敵でした。また是非利用したいです。

The main problem of this hotel

The main problem of this hotel is the location. It is far from the center of the city and you must take a Tram to go there. Also, it was recently reformed and painted. I was annoyed with the smell of paint. The reception is very slow.
