Bellevue Hotel Amsterdam

Friendly staff, clean but small room, close to the center and main station

In spite of best effort at research & advance request we were given smallest "standard room." It turned out to be the size of a large walk-in closet. We've stayed in several european hotels before but this was the smallest. Moreover, the ceiling of the bathroom shower was slanted (with the pitch of the roof) so that you couldn't stand up straight) while showering. This room should be removed from the list of standard rooms and prospective guests should be warned.

I only stayed over night in Amsterdam but travelled in to the City from the Airport. Luckily this hotel is across the Canal from Central Station so it was easy to walk to from the Station late at night due to the hotel shuttle not being available or existant... I booked the hotel primarily due to them having a shuttle. If you are arriving past 9 p.m. there are NO shuttles. The train is fast, inexpensive and convenient. The room was clean and modern but COLD! I could not get the heat to function. The breakfast at Carla's and the oldest pub in Amsterdam were both DELIGHTFUL. I would most likely stay here again but would ask for help with the heat if is winter when I stay!!

The breakfast was the high point. Better than typical for Paris. Wireless internet worked fine and was free. Staff friendly. Good location, close to Metro and good restaurants. However, experience soured by serious bedbug problem.

smallest room I've ever seen. My window looked into a light well so I had to keep the curtains closed. Bed somewhat comfortable and the wifi worked well. It was very clean, though. Didn't include breakfast either. Near the train station which was a plus. Was overpriced for what I got.

The hotel looks nice on arrival. The man at the desk was very friendly and told us where all the main attractions were. If its coffee shops you are going for the location was great. Walking distance to all the mains streets. It's walking distance to some big attractions like the museums but some were just a short tram journey away. The bedroom was very small. We were on the 5th floor facing the front, great view. Bit noisy but I quite like the noise. Unfortunately where we were in the roof the wall sloped making it impossible to sit up in bed and all there was were two plastic chairs. The tv only had dutch channels except the news. Good floor for smokers as it has a nice balcony. The room was beyond freezing. We had to ask for another duvet and still slept in a jumper and 2 pairs if socks. It was about -6 in dam at the time though, but could do with some heating! The rooms don't have tea/coffee facilities and the cafe isn't open ask day. Over all if its just a bed you are after it's fine. We paid £45 a night for 3 nights and I think that was quite a lot for what you get. Also I woke twice to a cleaner barging in even though the do not disturb sign was on, not great. Probably would spend a bit more for somewhere else next time.

Had single room....bed sagged at least 100mm when lying in it...Staff mislead me on breakfast details when I enquired.....Thus paying double for a rip off breakfast ($16) that...Note: Hotel restaraunt hygene was poor. Lot of hallway noise in middle of night from drunk or stoned kids. Location is the only thing here.

En general está bastante bien. Tiene wifi gratis en las habitaciones y está bien localizado. Me encontré a un ratón en la puerta del comedor y lo comuniqué a recepción. Me dijeron que es habitual, ya que aunque tienen servicios de exterminio de ratones, Amsterdam está lleno de ellos. Por lo demás, bien.

The location was wonderful and staffs were very helpful and kind. The only thing inconvenient was the bathroom that did not have any shelf to put toilet set.

以前利用したとき、朝食はブッフェスタイルであったが、今回は違った。前回の方がよかった。他は特に問題はありませんでした。お世話になりありがとうございました。
