Great hotel and staff. Spa lovely. Great location, in the middle of it all but still quiet.

This place is a great find! The location and staff were great. Free mini bar, Wifi and Wellneas center really set this place apart from other hotels I've stayed at in Europe. I would recommend this place to everyone!

The hotel was great, very friendly and very helpful with everything. It was in a good area and we felt safe walking home every night. I recommend to families as well as singles who are not big smokers.

The Amrath Hotel was a treat to come home to after meandering through Amsterdam for a week. Pros: super comfy cloud like beds, great view (upon request), 24 hour room service, free wifi, free mini-bar (stocked daily!!!) amazing spa & fitness center, early check in (upon request), 5 minute walk to Grand Central Station, great bathrooms by European hotel standards. Cons: restaurants could use some reworking of prices to reflect mediocre food quality, confusing to navigate through though you get used to it after a day or two.

We are just back from 3 days in your beautiful hotel. We were in room 309, huge room with gorgeous view of the canal and the sunset. All items in the minibar were complimentary and appreciated. I rooms are magestic, full of an art deco style...hight ceilings, perfect views, centrally located. Just perfect.

Great hotel and solid value considering the alternatives in Europe. Spa is incredible (although they need to juice up the steam room), minibar is always stocked.

I was a little nervous because I had not visitted Europe so I did not know what to expect. As soon as I arrived in Amsterdam with my friend and walked over to the Hotel from Central Station -- I felt wonderful and relieved. The Hotel is an architectural gem - and I could see from across the canals. Upon entering I was greeted by the lovely staff who made me feel very comfortable. They were so nice - and they offered us a very early check-in upon arrival. The room was spotless and the Free mini bar and coffee station in the room really does get stocked up every day ! -- I loved being able to unwind at ease with that. We stayed for 5 nights - and the maid service was excellent with a really great turn-down service. After travelling all around the city and visitting other hotels , eateries, etc. -- it was evident that the Location of this hotel was the best we could have imagined. It was very easy to take the trams & the trains -- while staying in a quiet neighborhood street that the hotel was on. After a long day & night -- it was a good feeling to go back to the relaxing and elegant ambience of the hotel. I would stay here again (and hope to) -- and recommed it to my family and friends.

Hotel staff were polite and very helpful. My ground floor room was large and beautifully furnished with modern contemporary decor. The complimentary minibar was a pleasant surprise as was excellent coffee maker. The spa pool was a good size and the steam and sauna facilities were very good. Free wi fi was anothe bonus as well as access to computers in the small business centre. Breakfast too expensive to try but this was only fault.

The hotel was beautiful and the location was perfect. There is a free mini bar in the room. The pillows are an odd shape so it took a couple nights to get used to it. Also sometimes those automatic windows would go off randomly, maybe it was a Dutch ghost. The staff was great, only one issue though. Upon checking out we were quoted 45 Euro for the cab and we specifically asked for a cab that took credit cards, however we were provided with a cab that only took cash and he charged us 58 Euro. That was a bummer, or else I would have said 5 stars. The hotel is near the central station and the red light district. Walkable distance from many touristic places.

Every request was dealt with within 10 minutes (and in person). Accomodations were gorgeous. Received a free upgrade to a superior room with a city view. Free Minibar stocked with top of the line liquors, wine, soft drinks, and water. Terrific location. Excellent Concierge service. Would go back in a minute!
