excellent value hotel
Excellent hotel, not a single problem encountered during our 4 day stay. Room was immaculate and tastefully set out. Staff were always extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel is outside the city centre, which may not suit all people, but we enjoyed returning to the calm of the suburbs, and walking in the park just a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The tram station is only 200 metres from the hotel and there are trams every 15 minutes into the city centre. Local shops located very close to hotel.

So glad we chose this hotel!
This hotel is in the suburbs but there is excellent and plentiful public transport (the tram gave us a view of great architecture in varied and pleasant neighbourhoods) - distance from Dam Square was not an issue and lots of the must see places are on this tram route (no 5) - such as the museums and galleries; flower market etc. The hotel is new, so everything is pristine and high quality. The power shower is great, the rooms are cleaned well. Staff are polite, efficient, helpful and friendly. We appreciated the peace and quiet at the end of a busy day. We would definitely use this hotel again and recommend it unreservedly!!

A nice place to stay, quiet
this place is nice and quiet and off the beaten path. It is a very short walk to the light rail line and about a 20 minute ride to Amsterdam Station. They serve a nice morning breakfast spread and that staff are very nice, knowledgeable and accommodating.

Grund: Preis/Leistung war tadellos Der kurze Aufenthalt war ein Vergnügen: sprachgewandt und freundliches Personal saubere, ruhige Zimmer mit Vierstern-Ausstattung gutes, reichliches Frühstück inklusive Metrostation direkt um die Ecke - Direkte Verbindung bis Amsterbam Central-Station W.Erb

Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam
Very Nice overall, a bit far from city center but tram and Metro are just in the corner of the street and stop every 5 to 10 minutes. Easy access, Easy also to come from the airport.
