Lovely hotel and the service is very good. New and clean but the sink is in the bedroom and not in the bathroom. Worse of all there is no place to put shampoo or towels or clothes or whatever in the bathroom. Not well thought out. Great breakfast and very good restaurants and museums all within a few blocks. I feel it was a good value and would return

Great staff and boutique hotel

I enjoyed my stay at JL No. 76. The staff in particular, especially Andre and Virgil, were terrific and very welcoming and accommodating. The hotel location is in a safe neighborhood, not far from museums, and even though it is not on a canal, it is a short walk or tram. Facilities were definitely 4 star, and upgrades are worth it.

good location, not where you want to stay if you would like to sleep

Hotel room was: average. Location was good and convenient and some good/cute little cafe's near, Vondelpark near, and the Van Gogh museum....my biggest issue was the staff in the AM....You could hear EVERYthing--above, below, next to you, hallways....I heard the maids every AM going in the rooms, knocking, etc. etc. This was usually at 9 am...Just annoying that I had to be up and awake by 9 am....Very overpriced. Very.
