The NH Caransa Hotel Amsterdam is situated in the heart of Amsterdam, at the lively Rembrandtplein. The surroundings offer numerous areas of interest, both cultural and recreational. Culture seeking visitors can enjoy the many museums, under which the Rembrandthuis and the Joods Historisch Museum (on Jewish History). Thanks to the magnificent view of the Rembrandtplein, the day can be started quietly with a delightful breakfast on the terrace. The centre of Amsterdam with the many theatres, shopping streets and areas of interest are all within grasp. As well as attractions in the vicinity of the hotel, the flower market and Dam square are very easy to reach. The NH Caransa Hotel offers spacious rooms with a bath and excellent facilities for conferences and business travellers. The 4 conference rooms are air conditioned and have natural light. NH Caransa offers an airport shuttle service to Schiphol Amsterdam Airport for a fee. This service is available from 06:50 h to 21:50 h.

excellent location

Tram and bus stops are located right in front of the hotel. There are many restaurants within a block or two. Major museums, flower markets, The Amsterdam Music Theatre, pedestrian shopping district are all within walking distance.

Excellent location

On checking into hotel after booking a smoking room, I was given a non smoking room. Other than that everything was perfect!

Great location on Amsterdam's Rembrantplein

I have used this hotel a number of times. The location on Rembrantplein is excellent. Good quality room. I particularly like the rooms on the higher floors facing the Amstel - which are also quieter.

Trip to amsterdam

NH Caransa Hotel couldn't be better located than in the centrum of Amsterdam. With a room where we could have a nice view of the Rembrandtplein made it even better. Right in the center it was easy to get to anywhere. View minutes walk to The Dam Square. With Tram 9 right in front of the hotel you could get to Amsterdam central station where it could take you to anywhere in Holland. we caught the train to and from schiphol airport. We had a pleasant week and are looking forward to go again anytime soon.Only we regret the airport parking in Newark. [...]

excellent location

Excellent location, tram stopped right outside hotel door. Was able to get a train from airport to central station and a tram straight to hotel (they run v.regularly about every 6minutes and late at night). Able to walk to Dam Square, flower market and the red light district was in walking distance but a little further. Trams going to Ann Frank House, Van Gogh Museum etc were outside hotel. A little noisy as we stayed at the front-we benefited from a lively atmosphere and view of Rembrandt Square and if windows were closed you can hear very little noise-besides who sleeps in Amsterdam?! Plenty of very nice bars around hotel providing nice and reasonable food (breakfast). I have recommended the hotel to friends and would def stay there again. Staff friendly and iron/ironing board can be requested and will remain in your room for duration of stay. For the girls...great hair dryer in room and plenty of light and windows : )

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

Tip: buy day ticket for trams as you can use them for 24hrs and may be too tired after a day of sight seeing to walk even short distances! Enjoy!!

Good Location with Limited Service

Nice hotel. The price was very high for a small room. Extremely high price in fact. It looked 3 star at best. There is no fitness center Breakfast was no breakfast included in the room.

Sehr Gut gelegenes NH Hotel

Wir hatten einen sehr schoenen und angenehmen aufenthalt im NH Caransa. Das Hotel ist exzellent gelegen am Rembrantplein alles ist in Laufnaehe und bequem zu erreichen... Das Zimmer, bei uns ein Superior Zimmer ist Modern Ausgestattet und bietet alles was das Herz begehrt. Wir kommen naechstes Wochenende wieder.
