In addition to its 468 rooms, the hotel comprises 35 fully furnished and completely renovated apartments for guests with long-term accommodation requirements. The apartments are situated behind the historic facades, around the historic summer garden and the canal, directly adjacent to the hotel. Each location and design is unique. Some problems that were fixed quickly. Great hotel, great staff

It should be better explained is that the Hotel Apartments do not have room service. The apartments are to those guests that will stay for longer period and they clean the apartments only once every 7 days. I was not aware of this and my my apartment also had wifi issues. I explained my frustration to the Hotel Manager and showed him my papers with no remarks about the room service. He accepted my comments and transferred me to a regular room, with wifi and room service. Great Hotel, commited and kind Staff.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Vasso. Excelent Italian Food at Rozenboomsteeg 12 14, Amsterdam. If you have some extra time in Amsterdam, take a train for a one day time in Antweerp .....beautiful!

Gezzelig

We love the place. It was very quiet, comfortable and gezzelig, as Dutch said. On minus side. The stairs are steep, the bedroom is small, but, hey, this is the center of the old Amsterdam. So we will come again, but next time in winter. Thank you, Krasnopolsky! AG, NYC

Nightlife tip: In Hotel

Near the entrance to the hotel, in the narrow alley you can find 300 years old "Focking distillery'. Don't miss the opportunity to start your evening with fruit brandy, the best is cherry. And eat Dutch herring in every corner, You can find anything better in the whole world.
