Great location one block from central train station. very helpful staff and super restaurant and lounge food was excellant. will stay there again.

We were upgraded on arrival to a large king room with a double sofa bed, very helpful as we were 3 guys on a stag party! The room was very clean and the king bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The bathroom was fine could have done with a better shower but all was forgiven by the fantastic breakfast. We had room service so I don't know what the resturant is like. Great location, great service, good food, highly recommend!

We picked this location for our three night stay based on its proximity to the Jordaan. Knowing that the West Bank and the Jordaan offer the layed back experience we were looking for, the Renaissance offered a reliable hotel chain with a great location. Just a moments walk for a couple of blocks, you are at the hotel and checking in before your bags become annoying on cobble stone streets for the central station. Arriving around 12:30, our room was not available so we checked our luggage and wanted for a call from the hotel to tell us our room was available. In the meantime, we were able to see the nearby Anne Frank museum and fetch lunch. For the rest of our stay, we were able to easily visit the Dam Square area, Nine Streets, and dozens of neighborhood brown cafes and restaurants. As easy as it was to find the hotel on arrival, it was easy to visit the flee market just a few blocks away on Monday morning before return to the train station our the airport for our return home. A perfect relaxing and cultural weekend in Amsterdam.

Hotel is one of the better ones in Amsterdam. Clean, new and nice furniture/beds/sheets. Nicely decorated. Our room was on the bottom floor facing a loud street and was too noisy. The price seemed resonable.

My fiance and I were in Amsterdam for 9 days. We stayed at 3 different hotels. The Renaissance was the only 4 star we stayed in and was by far the nicest and most modern. Rooms had flat screen tv, and were spotless. The entire staff was incredibly helpful especially the concierge.

Centrally well located hotel, close enough to the Main (Central) Train Station to make it conveniently accessible and far enough away from it to make it peaceful and relaxing. Well appointed rooms with very comfortable beds and ammenities such as high speed internet and flat screen tv/monitor (with a wireless keyboard). Unfortunately, these come with a price that start affecting the otherwise great rate that Orbitz got for the room.

excellant location-took train from airport to central station about 4 euros each 20 min ride ,walked from central station to hotel very close, center to all tourist information-shops resturants, trams , if your hotel is further the trams (electric buses) end up at central station which take you to anywhere in the city,very cheap

Great location. Very friendly staff, courteous and attentive. Didnt have a chance to use the workout facilities. I took the conceirge package which included internet service, breakfasts, and cocktail hour. Within walking distance to the central train station making sight seeing even a trip to the beach a breeze. No complaints.
