Trianon Hotel

The excuse for giving my room away was that I was not there at !4:00. I said 14:00 was the earliest you can book in and that they had my arrival time as requested as 19:00 and I was on time. I was offered a dormitory with another seven people with us all sharing one toilet and bathroom. I did not argue because the woman had been smoking a joint outside when I arrived so I could see no point.

PLEASE FOLKS DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL, THIS IS NOT AN HOTEL IS AN HOSTEL TOGETHER WITH 100% STEALING GOING ON!!!!!I BOOK THIS HOTEL AS A SINGLE ROOM FOR MY HUSBAND WHEN HE ARRIVED HE WAS TOLD TO MAKE PAYMENT WHICH IS NOT REFORDABLE AFTER MAKING THE PAYMENT THEN HE WAS TOLD HIS GOING TO BE SHARING A ROOM WITH 8 PEOPLE HE ASK WHY ? THEY WON'T TELL HIM ANYTHING MY HUSBAND WAS SO TIRED THAT NIGHT HAVING TO TRAVEL FOR 7HRS TO AMSTERDAM HE HAS NO OPTION BUT TO STAY THAT NIGHT, THE NEXT MORNING HE WENT FOR HIS MEETING IN THE TOWN GETTING BACK TO THE SO CALLED TRIANON HOTEL HIS LAUGAGE WAS BRAKE INTO AND ALL HIS PERSIONAL ITEMS WAS STOLEN INCLUDING HIS LAPTOP, WATCHES,RING,CAMERA AND OTHER STUFFS...HE RUN TO THE RECEPTIONIST TO MAKE HIS COMPLAIN HE WAS TOLD THEY CANNOT HELP HIM AND THAT THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE HE REQUEST FOR THE RECEPTIONIST TO CALL THE POLICE SHE ALSO REFUSE. AFTER FEW HOURS OF CONVERSATION SHE CALL THE POLICE AND SAID SOMEONE WANT TO KILL HER WHEN THE POLICE ARRIVED THEY FIND OUT THAT WAS NOT THE CASE ALL THEY CAN SAY IS FOR MY HUSBAND TO COME TO THE POLICE STATION THE NEXT DAY AND MAKE A REPORT..TERIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS MANAGEMENT.

I booked this while at Schiphol airport, needing a decent place to stay while on an unexpected overnight. When I turned up, there was dance music pumping in the lobby and the place smelled like the Chinese restaurant it's connected to. The hallway was filthy, with bags of trash laying against the wall on the first floor. To my surprise, the room had twin bunk beds. Totally unacceptable, and not what I paid for, yet the front desk claimed nothing else was available. The WiFi didn't work, and the surly front desk manager claimed that a) people were working on it and b) it wasn't a problem because it worked on his phone (I tried on 2 different devices). At that point, I packed and left, taking a train for >2h to stay with a friend instead. I guess I also sacrificed the extra money I paid for breakfast. The room itself was clean, and I did use the bathroom/shower, but this place is a disaster and definitely not a "hotel." In fact, I've stayed in a lot of hostels that were far better. I didn't expect a Park Hyatt, but in the end, I preferred >4h of train travel and a friend's couch. Avoid this place.

Good location and good price. Plenty to eat at breakfast. However, my room had a balcony which was covered in rubbish and cigarette ends, and really needed sweeping ! The window didn't close properly, so banged about during the night. There must have been mice in the room (or maybe just one mouse !) as the biscuits and chocolates I had bought for presents were nibbled !

Enjoyed my stay there. Nice service, breakfast and bed, friendly staff. Perfect location if you want to visit museums and live near center.

This hotel sucks! I checked Orbitz for a single bedroom, and then found this one for $32 a night. I was so happy and booked it. When I went there, the receptionist gave me the key for the room and told me the room is 405 bed E! I told him what bed E are you talking about I had a single bedroom. He told me no you reserved it as a dorm so you share the room with 8 other people! I thought it is my mistake that I wasn't careful when I booked the room, till I found one other guy in the lobby asking the receptionist the same question (that he booked a single room and now he's sharing it with others), and the receptionist replies with the same tone like it is our mistake. Again, I go to the room, and I meet this guy who is my roommate who tells me that he booked this hotel from another website like orbitz as a single bedroom, then when he arrived he found out it is a dorm! Clearly, this hotel claims that you will have a single room and when you arrive they give you this dorm thing. I ask how much is the single room (like the real single room that I don't share with anybody), and the receptionist tells me it is 50 euros a night. I go to have a look at this room and it is EXTREMELY small. I didn't have the money to pay 50 euros a night, plus I was really mad that this hotel is such a scam, so I stayed in the dorm. What really made me angry is the tone of the receptionist as if it was my mistake, and he keeps the same tone for every customer fooled like myself! If you book a single room for 32 dollars in this hotel, just know it is NOT a single room. I have to say I am disappointed in Orbitz for putting their customers in such a situation. And if you book the single bedroom for 50 euros (the real single bedroom), it is really not worth it. You can go for better hotels for this price. The single bedroom is really really really small!

The location is dependent on where you want to be....it is quite a trek(tram ride pretty much essential) from the red light district area but in a very nice place and once you have figured out the trams(just keep to the number 5 ) is a very nice part of the city. i would say the only downside to the hotel is that it is VERY noisy for hearing people coming in and out and if it is a romantic weekend you are looking for then i would doubt your lady would be too impressed as its very small...but for the lads away it is perfect for just crashing out

all the hotels in Amsterdam were expenseve.one of the chepest one was hotel Triatron.when we got there we were told that the hotel is full and were send to their sister hotel which was just around the corner .Both of the hotels are actually dormatary type hostels with 6 of the two-story beds. The hostel is just good enough for sleeping and nothing else. The beds were comfortable, but there was absolutely no privacy in the room. The hostel included free breakfast and internet. Overall, the hostel was ok for the price that we paid comapared to the other hotels.

朝食も付いて、親切な対応でした ただ、部屋が狭すぎて、とても息苦しく感じました バスタブや洗面、トイレは清潔で良い香りがして 古い建物でも丁寧に補修している感じがしました アムステルダムの中で、この価格やホテルの場所から考えると、リーズナブルに感じられます

Chambre au 2ème étage. L'ascenseur ne fonctionne pas à cet étage. Le lavabo n'est pas dans la salle de bain mais dans la chambre ... avec tapis plein!!! Bonne situation dans le quartier des musées. Facile d'accès avec le tram 2 ou 5. Accès direct au centre en quelques minutes.
