Ibis Amsterdam Centre is situated by the main train station. Trains, metros, buses, trams and taxis all drop you right to the door. Schiphol airport is just 15 minutes away by train, the RAI center just 20 mins by tram and the ARENA 15 mins by metro. Other destinations such as the PTA cruise terminal, Beurs van Berlage, the Dam Square and the Grachtengordel are within walking distance. Our hotel has 363 rooms, including 3 for disabled guests. Breakfast is served daily from 4am to at least midday.

Convenient location

We chose this hotel because we were only going to be in Amsterdam for the day and were traveling in and out of the city by train. The hotel was perfectly located right next to the train station. We couldn't hear or feel the trains coming and going, so we got a good night's rest. The room itself was small but very clean and in great condition. There are prettier areas in Amsterdam so if you're staying for a few days, this may not be the best location. However, if you need to use the train station, the Ibis is a great choice.

Europe vacation

Sightseeing. Beds were not comfortable. Staff we encountered were nice and friendly. Breakfast not included in price.

Palace See floating chinese restaurant. Good food but very expensive.

Great Location

Can't beat the location (right next to the Central train station). You will pay a premium for this proximity however. The rooms are very small, but generally clean and functional. The air-conditioning (which you hardly ever need in Amsterdam) wasn't as effective as one would like, but it did allow you to close the windows and better mute the outside trainstation-related noise. For the most part, the noise became a non-issue. This was very good of the hotel.
