Hotel One Rotterdam

Located only 5-10 minutes from the central train station, the hotel is close to many fine restaurants and cafes. The main harbour is a short walk away, as is a beautiful park called Het. The hotel itself is very good. The service was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious by Dutch standards, and the bathroom was newly tiled. The only knock on the hotel was the constant noise from the trams but that's what happens when you're located centrally. The breakfast was outstanding. There was a great selection of ham, pate, salmon mix, curried chicken, egg, cereal, fresh fruit, juice, bread, croissant. And this was included in the cost of the room as well! There was a lift but very small. The stairs were narrow and quite steep but if you're relatively fit this should prove only a minor inconvenience. Remember, you only have to walk up the stairs once with luggage. I recommend this hotel very highly and would stay here should I ever visit Rotterdam again.
