I stayed here because I was attending a conference at the World Forum so for that it was very convenient. Included breakfast was very good with a range of hot and cold buffet dishes. Internet was an expensive extra as was use of the sauna and gym. Close to museum and to tram lines for city. Room cleaning not great.

We stayed at the Novotel for six nights. What a great location and setting in a great city. The Passage is an experience in itself. Everything one would want is convenient and easy to reach. Public transport is easy to maneuver, and walking to the many cultural offerings of the city is trouble free. The staff of Novotel is just superb! The desk and restaurant people are so very helpful and friendly. Much more than expected. The breakfast is good enough to dream about. Our room was a bit small, but quite adequate, clean, and efficient. We would stay at the Novotel again in a second.

O serviço dos quartos é fraco para um hotel de 4 estrelas. O fazer das camas resume-se a puxar os lençois para cima. Nem os pijamas são dobrados. Parece faltar ao pessoal dos quartos, formação e fiscalização adequadas .
O pessoal da recepção, pelo contrário, é muito eficiente e simpático.
A localização é excelente, sobretudo para quem queira passar uns dias na praia. O pequeno almoço é caro (22 €) e o seu valor não é indicado no acto da reserva, como acontece com outros hotéis.

The Babylon is a nice hotel. I was in Den Haag for business, so my priorities were location, cost, cleanliness, internet access, and a good breakfast.
The hotel is centrally located next door to the Den Haag Central Station, so travel by train was easy. An 8 euro ticket to get from Schiphol Airport to Den Haag Central. I was able to get a good price through Orbitz for my five night stay, but Orbitz dropped the ball (more later).
My room was very comfortable with all the ammenities that you would expect from a Double Tree class hotel including free internet access from my room, and a GREAT buffet breakfast.
The Babylon Business Complex (which includes the hotel) is currently under construction, so there is daytime noise (seamingly 7am-4pm) in certain areas of the hotel; and the hotel entrance is not attractive. But since I was away from the hotel during the day, there was little impact on me.
I would definitely stay at the hotel again eventhough I was disappointed that I had no reservation when I arrived. Apparently, Orbitz failed to send them the prepaid arrangements, so I had to use my credit card to check-in, and then I had to contact Orbitz to get them to send the hotel the information. This failure also lead to complications when I checked out of the hotel. This should not have happened.

Room was very comfortable, staff was very professional and helpful. Price was unbeatable. Located 15 minutes by foot from the Peace Palace. No restaurants in the area of the hotel.

Was there for 1 week for business. The hotel was a very good deal at around $100 pn - can't beat that for a well located, clean and fully equipped business hotel. The people were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant menu is limited, but that was fine because within 10 min. walking distance was a nice neighborhood with plenty of good restaurants, cafes and shopping.

The good: location, intimate size, quiet street, very clean.
Not good: November and no heat in room (I had a superior room).
Frustrating: I found on the web in Holland a few days before I stayed in The Hague a price about 1/3 (including breakfast) of what I paid on this site. My breakfast was not included so I asked that the 16.50 euro ($20) breakfast to be comp'd and was told that wasn't possible. That inflexibility does not earn my repeat business.

HOTEL HAS BEEN RENOVATED IN 2007
The Hotel Corona is a first class hotel. All rooms are equipped with wireless Internet cable and pay TV radio alarm clock and direct dial telephone minibar safe bath or shower and hairdryer. All of the guest rooms are comfortable and nicely equipped to give a feeling of being home while away from home. The hotel also has a variety of facilities and services that are sure to meet the need of both business and leisure travelers. The hotel facilities include cafe restaurant Corona French cuisine terrace lounge and brasserie-sidewalk cafe.

Good location, poor renovation

This is an old hotel that has been very poorly renovated. The wardrobe in our room was ridiculously small for our stay, which was a week. The bathroom had been updated but had only one towel rail, and the full wall of mirror over the (double) washbasins partly covered the taps! There was no easily accessible power outlet in the bedroom, and only a razor outlet in the bathroom. We were not informed ahead that the buffet breakfast was 19.5 euros each, even though my wife and I only wanted juice, coffee and a croissant. That makes breakfast for two cost $57.00. There should be an alternative to the full buffet on offer. We had to go out for breakfast once we discovered this outrageous cost. We are an older couple visiting The Hague for a family wedding.

Right behind the Scheveningen Boulevard, just 200 metres from the sea, you will find the 3-star Badhotel Scheveningen.
