Hotel with difficulties
I went for a short vacation to Auckland. I arrived in the morning of the day I spent at the hotel in New Zealand and toured Auckland and visited coffee shops in Ponsonby till it was time to check into the hotel. I arrived about 15 minutes before the check in time and was told the room was not ready. A different room was found for me and when I arrived on the designated floor the hallway was cramped full with beds from rooms in which the carpet was being exchanged. During my nap in the afternoon workmen tried to come into my room, which had already had its carpet exchanged. When I check into the hotel I was asked to hand over a credit card for any additional items - so far so fair. The room was stocked with many different items, including a wine bottle and a price list, which made it clear that using any of the items in the room was an expensive treat. I refrained from using any items. I stayed one night. In the morning of check out I was told no extra charges had been incurred since I did not use anything in the room. A week later I discovered my credit card had been billed with items I did not use.

Excellent service and room. Great location close to city centre. Very useful to have central secure car parking. Helpful staff. Not too far to walk to Domain Gardens and harbourside.

Nothing special but did the job
Nothing special but did the job - mix up with booking put us into a twin share but Hotel upgraded booking to king bed room so good service.

A comfortable stay, close to most
A comfortable stay, close to most places of interest. Hotel staff were friendly and the room was comfortable. Perhaps a little cramped for two adults and two small children. Parking is on site, but first in wins - if you're lucky. Room service is quick and meals of fair value. Not outstanding but good to sum it all up.

A great hotel to stay in for central
A great hotel to stay in for central city or Vector Arena. The restaurant was nice to eat in with good breakfast and dinner choices. Amazing views from all rooms. Pleasant helpful staff.
