The hotel was very neat and clean, and conveniently located within walking distance to the main shopping area. The staff was exceptional, immediately responding (often, in-person) to every request. However, thre beds are certainly not king-size, but any one's standard, perhaps, even Tiny Tim's.

I stayed in one of the residence
I stayed in one of the residence suites. They are nice and large and well appointed. There was a kettle missing when I arrived and this was quickly fixed. The breakfast was also included in the price and this was nice. The room was quiet and clean and I would recommend it. My only gripe is the very expensive internet. This is the 21st Century and the internet should be inlcuded.

Nice hotel!
The hotel lobby is really nice, check in was easy. They have valet and self parking underneath the hotel. They have Internet in the rooms which were very clean. A single flat screen tv and big windows. There is one restaurant only in the hotel. It's not exactly in the city centre like I thought but about 10-15 mins walking. It's right next to Auckland University so you see a bunch of college kids walking around in the morning, but not much noise which was good despite being next to a college. Concierge Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Great hotel - aesthetically pleasing
Great hotel - aesthetically pleasing with helpful staff and great price offered by RatesToGo. However location is up a hill and hence needing a taxi to get around especially in the Auckland humidity. As a modern hotel, would expect complimentary Wi-Fi and newspapers, but was not supplied. However overall, am happy with my stay and would stay again when travelling on business.

Have stayed at a few places in
Have stayed at a few places in Auckland and this would be up there with the best. I had mentioned when booking that it was our wedding anniversary and we were thrilled to receive a free bottle of Deutz, an unexpected bonus and very kind. Only thing I would change is to request a west facing room so I could sit in the sun in the evening, otherwise nice rooms and lovely people!
