Loved it. Unfortunately I didn't mange to get a booking for a facial but the facilities were so good it didn't matter. Would definitely stay again if I was ever lucky enough to go back to New Zealand.

Long walk from hotel
A bit out of the way for getting to town but OK if you're willing to walk up a hill to get back to the hotel. Had a super rate[...]otherwise would have been quite expensive.

good location, nice service
Good hotel, we arrived by 8am, they let us store our luggage there and gave us info about auckland. Our room was ready by 10am (and they let us check in at that time)! Very helpful staff from the doorman to the check-in staff! Even gave us a late check-out. Nice facilities(we used their spa area to freshen-up)

Beautiful hotel with all the amenties

Although the first room we spent
Although the first room we spent the first night in( on the un-refurbished 3rd floor) left a lot to be desired,( curtain falling off, tap over bath falling off, stains on headboard and the stench of cigarette smoke coming through the vents every 20 minutes or so, ) our stay was made memorable by the very helpful staff in moving us up to the 9th floor. This floor was fully refurbished,you could still smell the new paint, with a great view of the harbour and a nice big flat screen to watch the rugby, it made our stay.

Hotel was undergoing some renovations
Hotel was undergoing some renovations during our stay. Commenced renovations at early hours in the morning and distrupting hotel guest's. Made 3 phone complaints before any actions was taken

excellent hotel!
We arrived in New Zealand after a 13 hour flight at 5am local time. We got to the hotel around 6. The hotel staff was exceptionally welcoming and helpful, which was most appreciated considering how tired we were. They let us drop off our bags while we explored Auckland. When we returned, the bags were already in our room. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The room had a great bathroom and a lovely view. I'm very happy with my entire experience.
