We are a young family with 3 boys,
We are a young family with 3 boys, we found this hotel to be very welcoming and helpful on our arrival. The one bedroom apartment was spaceish and very warm and cosy on those cold nights. Very handy to the Vector Arena and other venues. The view from our apartment looking out to the harbour and skycity was priceless. We all had a very satisfied stay at the Quality Hotel Barrycourt Auckland. High standard of cleaniless and the staff are so helpful and friendly. Recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for accomodation in the Auckland City District.

We could not fault this venue - we stayed as a family of adults and children, it was central, in a good area, and had all we needed - the staff go out of the way to make your stay enjoyable

Reasonable Charitable Hotel in Auckland
When I saw that the proceeds from the Quality Barrycourt went to charity and that it was reasonably priced I booked. I expected very basic, but the small balcony with a view of the harbor and the widescreen TV were a delightful surprise. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Internet access is from the lobby only and costs $5NZ for 30 minutes.. plenty for me. There is also a decent restaraunt on the premises. I will stay there again!

The LINK bus system in Auckland can take you in a big circle around the city and is close to this hotel. You can take the train also from downtown. Traffic is not good in Auckland at rush hour times.

All round excellent value for
All round excellent value for money. Very clean, exceptionally friendly staff 24hrs a day and stunning views of harbour from some rooms. Also Parnell a great little suburb of Auckland to stay in. Loads of cafes and restaurants and 15 mins walk through parkland into main city centre. Highly recommended for the money and no complaints at all. Will return.
