Superb Location, Very Loud from Club below at night
This is a terrific location, great value, and high level accomodation. Staff very willing to assist in any capacity. Sadly, what is so great about the location, is it's bigget weakness. The ground floor of the building abuts to several night clubs on Auckland Harbor. Thursday-Saturday night is a constant thump thump of the bass. Truth is, you're traveling so much you'll likely sleep through it, but ask for a higher floor, and not a good place from light sleepers.

Excellent location with numerous
Excellent location with numerous resteraunts, pubs & other entertainment at the doorstep. A short walk to harbour cruises & ferries.Helpfull staff and good sized rooms with great views. In my opinion, the best place to stay in Auckland.

Fabulous spot overlooking harbour,
Fabulous spot overlooking harbour, walk to restaurants easy as just underneath the building. When booking we requested high floor with a view & on check in got 1st floor!! When we queried they immediately change it top top floor , so happy about the service. Would definitely stay there again.

Great View
The hotel is in a great location with tons of energy and the best views. But it is also showing its age. Things look tired and worn. We booked a room for three people, and arrived to find the unit only had two towels and two of each item in the kitchen. Had to call every day to request three towels which is rediculous at a 4 star hotel.

We have stayed at The Sebel before
We have stayed at The Sebel before - this time in a studio. It was spacious, clean and we got an excellent rate. We have always found The Sebel to be a great place to stay when we want to have a good night in town.

A great location with water views
A great location with water views from our corner suites. Right in the middle of many restaurants and an easy walk to the Sky Tower. Our room seemed to be in very good condition. Pay extra $25 per day for parking.

Fantastic location right near
Fantastic location right near the action. Might be worth packing ear plugs if you're a light sleeper cos it can be a party location down on the dock but if you're okay with a little bit of noise (not lots) it is one of the best places to stay in Auckland and I've stayed in plenty.
