I enjoyed the stay very much.
I enjoyed the stay very much. However my one gripe would be that I felt the income was more important than my wellbeing. I presented my Debit Visa card and a bond was charged, although I understand an impression of the Visa Card would be sufficient. Then went to the restaurant for breakfast and was made to pay for the breakfast separately "as my account was closed off", even after having already paid a deposit. I could not put it on the room and pay all at once. This experience I found to be a little unpleasant. Otherwise great staff, great facilities, great value. p.s. I checked with my bank about the Debit Visa and they could not understand why the Hotel put me through this proceedure. After all I had a full Visa card. kind regards, Rob

The room was very small but it
The room was very small but it looked like the hotel was being refurbished. The restaurant had only coffee vending machines. A real coffee goes a long way. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Reserving a room at the Ibis was
Reserving a room at the Ibis was quick, easy and very affordable. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised at the level of customer service and the quality of our room. Would definitely stay again. Thank you very much :)

This hotel is centrally located,
This hotel is centrally located, within easy reach of Auckland city, Sylvia Park and adjacent to the motorway. There is a good choice of food available in the restaurants and bars that are shared with the Novotel. We have enjoyed several stays in the Ibis and this time were upgraded to the Novotel which was also very pleasant.
