small room with basic inclusions
small room with basic inclusions - definitely and eclectic mix which do not work particularly well together bedside lights damaged and had to be replaced at our insistence (staff thought they would be okay with their dicky switch and electricals not presenting a problem (to them)) staff were definitely lay back self rating level somewhat ambitious

A quirky, interesting spot which
A quirky, interesting spot which is very well located. Room (Standard) a bit sqeezy but sufficient. Very comfortable bed. Particularly appreciated free broadband - either on hotel equipment or own - which takes the stress out of communication.

The location of this hotel is superb being in the middle of the city. Convenient everything and not so far away from the hotel. The biggest disappoint for my wife and i during our 1 night stay here is the bathroom. The plastic shower curtain is something just not suited for a boutique hotel situated in one of the best location in Christchurch.

Friendly and convenient
We arrived after midnight, very tired after a long trip. The staff were very attentive to our weary needs. Great location on the dge of Cathedral Square.

A lovely characterful hotel with
A lovely characterful hotel with excellent service. Location was also great apart from the fact that the hotel has not yet installed double glazing. Apparently the hotel plans to do so but if you expect a good night's sleep either ensure you have a room on the atrium side of the building or go somewhere else until the work is done.
