Very contained and comfortable.
Very contained and comfortable. Close to city centre and Otago Uni hostel. Lots of student noise at night as was the end of orientation week but did not keep me awake past about midnight.

Superb value for money. Bathroom
Superb value for money. Bathroom module is 'interesting'. Excellent fscilities near tyo the 'Octagon'

Everything is perfect in this
Everything is perfect in this hotel. It is just good for a night's stay though as one would have a hard time trying to get some sleep due to the noise of the energy factory in front of it where a certain annoying machine sounds on certain times at night. I'm not sure if most Dunedin hotels are quite pricey because this hotel costs more than my luxurious 3-night great lake views with modern facilities Queenstown hotel stay. Otherwise, the hotel is located at the city centre and the room is clean, with just the right room size as well as having modern bed & bath facilities.

There was something on the carpet
There was something on the carpet from the fridge to the door (1.5 - 2 meters in length) - very unattractive. I was thinking only food could have made this - and then, if it was food, why could it not have been removed. The toilet had speckles, number 1 and 2. Also, on a cold night, I could not get the heater to work - unfortunately, I can not recommend this hotel.
