Good value accommodation just
Good value accommodation just one block from the square - so pretty much everything Palmy has to offer is within walking distance. Secure parking is included free of charge. The room service menu is better value than the restaurant - although choice is limited. There is no gymnasium or pool, but the room we stayed in (2 x double bed) had reasonable fittings and bathroom etc. Its a typical hotel room without a toaster or any other cooking facilities or crockery - just a kettle and some mugs.

Good Accomodations
Accomodations were good value as booked [...]. Room was in the historic part of the hotel and the room was small, but OK for 2 people. Very large bathroom. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly.

Harvey Norman was close by and very accomodating when our laptop got a virus and needed immediate attention and fixing!

Good value, but watch out for the extras
Good room rate, clean room and very comfortable. But I got dinged on local calls, internet charges, and the buffet breakfast. These charges more than doubled the cost of the room - so let the buyer beware!!!

Staying at the Travelodge Palmerston
Staying at the Travelodge Palmerston North was really pleasant. My husband and I got a room with 2 twin beds and we languished in one each. I am a Gold Entertainment Card Holder. Beware if you are like me don't book the night before or you will miss out on the slots available to Entertainment Members. I was not aware that a certain portion of the rooms are available to Entertainment Members and when that is up you pay the normal rate. According to the on-line room availabilty there was one room left with twin queen beds left. I booked the night before and paid $150 for Friday and $99 for Saturday. However the girl at the checkout upon leaving gave me a ten percent discount card for next time. Next time I will book earlier and hopefully with my Entertainment Card I will get a greater discount. Really nice restaurant and friendly staff. Parking easy. Would definitely stay again. Thanks

We enjoyed our one night stay

Man on front desk very pretentious,

Hotel was good but disappointed
Hotel was good but disappointed they adverstised having PAY TV and only had about 6 channels of it. Room service was ok as well. Not a huge selection but food was good
