I enjoyed my stay, although would have expected the spa to offer more than a small mineral pool next to a small size swimming pool. But all and all it was a pleasant stay.

Great service and very clean.
Great service and very clean. However, I got some charges to my credit card for some assurance without any notice. They said it take 3-5 working days to pay back. Hope I will get it back soon.

Hair in Bathroom, no one answers
Hair in Bathroom, no one answers reception, asked for a bottle opener and they do not provide one to guests - asked if we could borrow for 5 min and they did not even come back...fridge not working....so basically not a great experience. Will not use them in future.

Rotorua Novotel
The Novotel in Rotorua is a first class operation with well maintained facilities and a wonderful staff that always are well informed and always greet the guest with a smile. The rooms are roomy and beautiful and the facilities are plentiful. The highlight is its location as it's only steps from the lake and a stone's throw to the shops and restaurants. The only room for improvement is the fitness facilities which are small but don't delude yourself in thinking you would work out anyway!

Short walk from hotel
Seismic is a great place to eat with some of the best Lamb Burgers ever and it's only across the hotel! Make sure you try all the exciting activities which may appear scary at first but quite safe and absolutely FUN!!!!

Travelling with an infant made
Travelling with an infant made me think twice about booking a hotel since I require a microwave to warm up my baby's bottles, and sterilise the bottles too. At Novotel Rotorua, I was able to do this anytime of the day at their reception which was open 24 hours. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. There was free internet too available at the lobby for hotel guests. They provide free parking too.
