This is one of the oldest hotels in Norway. Guests wanting a very modern hotel will be disappointed. However, those who like a bit of charm from their hotel will be pleasantly surprised. This is a traditional building. The hotel is located adjacent to Bergen's central railway station, and while being relatively central this location is still about 10 minutes' walk to the major shopping area of Bergen and waterfront area.

As this is a very old hotel the rooms vary a great deal in size and shape. Rooms are of a reasonable standard and furnished to an adequate level. Room size in general is medium.

This is a grand place!

We were treated very well, even after a small glitch at first with the reservations, they graciously upgraded us to a very nice suite. The breakfast was lovely and well presented. While the decor is updated, they have managed to keep the original charm. I'd look forward to staying there again. The train station is across the street, making it very convenient.

Grand Hotel Terminus is a nice

Grand Hotel Terminus is a nice hotel in the centre of Bergen. Next to the train station and has been refurbished recently. The staff were friendly and the hotel had bikes you could borrow. The beds were amazing and I had the best sleep in a long time. What could be improved though, is the range of fruit served at breakfast. Also my room was not cleaned between the days I stayed there. Perhaps they were too busy? If you are not used to Norwegian hotels, remember to bring shampoo and conditioner and other toiletries as you only get an "all over shampoo" wall pump in the shower.

Its the 3rd time I've stayed at

Its the 3rd time I've stayed at this hotel and find it very good value, the staff are very friendly and helpful, breakfast is very good, its next to the train and bus station and only a five minute walk to the centre of Bergen so location is great.

Older Style hotel but rooms spacious

Older Style hotel but rooms spacious and very clean. Position is excellent if leaving Bergen by train but a 10 minute walk from the main tourist areas.

Sehr schöne neu restaurierte große

Sehr schöne neu restaurierte große Zimmer mit großem Bad. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Leider wurde vom Zimmerservice das Bett nicht gemacht!!
