The Bristol belongs to Thon's middle range, City hotels, but it feels like a Budget level property. The towels and toilet paper are wafer thin and oh so rough. The rooms are tiny (except a few superior-class rooms that cost a lot more). The hotel gets a lot of noise from the town square, at least in summer, and a lot of noise for anyone facing the courtyard due to early morning garbage collections that go on and on. The breakfast venue is crowded and not very friendly to American stomachs. The beds are tiny and hard. On the plus side, the cleaning was timely and good, and the hotel is conveniently located to the town center. Overall this is a terrible value for the price charged. The SAS Radisson Norge around the corner would in retrospect have been a better choice despite charging what seemed a lot more at the time.

DO NOT just sign up for the in-room WiFi using credit card. Instead, go to the front desk and buy scratch-off cards. You get the exact same access for less than half the on-line payment price.

メインストリートのすぐそばで、ベルゲンの市内観光をするにはとても便利でした。室内は白を基調としたシンプルなデザインです。 朝食は品数は多くないですが、おいしく頂きました。
