Radisson Blu Park Hotel, Oslo

This is an outstanding value and is only 15 minutes by bus from the city center. The bus comes every 10 minutes and it very nice. The hotel is in a very quiet area (used to be the Oslo Airport, but is now an industrial park (with the emphasis on park).

Very good food.

We had a good stay. The Breakfast was Excellent, but it was a little hard to find. But the location was Excellent. Lovely beach behind the hotel. I would stay there again

This seemed a little far from the town center, but it really wasn't! It is a 10 minute car ride or 20 minute public bus ride(number 30). This hotel price included breakfast and the staff worked hard to be friendly, keep all clean, and were professional in all respects. The little beach was very nice too! Nice novelty, in a quiet area. The hotel is off the main road, not totally obvious the first time you look for it. Thanks to the miracle of GPS, it was no big deal. Without it, I might have not had such an easy go. I spent late evening and mornings here, the action is pretty much in town. The price and clean rooms, still made this a great option. If you have a family, are single, or whatever, this is a good consideration.

Radisson SAS Park at Fornebuparken, in Oslo, was a great place to land after arriving in OSLO transatlantic. We rode the expensive but very nice dedicated airport train, to Fornebu. Be aware, that the website for this hotel and also from Orbitz is misleading, in regards to its location, which would appear to be right outside the train station. There was no signage or courtesy shuttle to the hotel from the station. Taxis were available at a quite an expense. We walked approx. 20 min. on dedicated bike / walk paths, with LUGGAGE, after asking numerous helpful people for directions. We chose this location due to "nearness" to mass transit (which was not entirely the case). We did, later that same day, use the bus, which stops close to SAS Park, to reach downtown. We also pre-scheduled our Hertz rental from this hotel, which has a Hertz desk, so as to avoid airport fees. Beds, room, hotel, were comfortable, and clean. Windows appeared to be the norm, rather than AC. Computer, for guests, was in lobby. Hotel has a "beach" & dock on the fjord. There was no pool or exercise room, which we could find. Bicycles were available, no charge, to ride on the extensive bike system, in Oslo (This was a +). Breakfast buffet was very nice and included. However, after 8 AM, it appeared that many desirable items were depleted and not being replenished. Safe was available behind the hotel desk (not in room). Place for frig / mini bar, in room, but none there. Desk staff were courteous, knowledgeable, fluent in English, and friendly. Our trip was a driving trip of Norway, with departure to/from Oslo. I may also recommend Radisson SAS Nydalen, directly off ring 3, Oslo, where we stayed prior to transatlantic departure (T & bus station & super market was right outside hotel). Parking under SAS Nydalen, for night was approx. 28.00 USD (ouch). I would consider staying at SAS Park again.

The location of the hotel is excellent and its surrounding in the midst of the woods is fantastic. It is also near a fjord!

a bit far from the City centre (there is a direct bus line 31/31E though) but very convenient for reaching locations in Fornebu. Location in the park by the beach, very good for relaxation.

Wir haben dieses Hotel vor 3 Jahren besucht und haben leider feststellen müssen, daß die Leistungen und die Qualität nachgelassen haben. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 6. Stock, kein Kühlschrank, keine Badematte, keine Toilettenbürste, aus der Badtür war ein Haken herausgerissen, 1 Behälter Duschgel für 2 Personen, 180 NKR für das Parken (neu ab Frühjahr). Schade, wir hatten uns auf dieses Hotel gefreut, das Frühstück war sehr gut!!
