Perfect location for food and shopping.
My wife and I stayed at the Radisson Feb. 18-23 for a Northern Lights viewing vacation. We stayed in a standard room, which provided twin beds that could be pushed together to simulate a queen bed. The room is comfortable, but not large. We loved the heated bathroom floor. The hotel stay included a morning breakfast buffet with a great variety of options. The waterfront location provided us with a view of the water and the mountains across the Tromso Bridge from our room on the 5th floor. The hotel is conveniently located within easy walking distance of the main shopping area as well as many great restaurants (we liked Emma's and Fiskekompaniet). The Tourist Information office is a couple blocks away, providing information and booking for many sightseeing activities. The staff in the lobby, restaurant, and cleaning crew were all very friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate to return.

Sightseeing tip:
In Hotel
Kjetil Skogli picks up his Northern Lights viewers at the Radisson at 6:30PM. A great, small-group, excursion to the dark countryside most nights.

Nicht wirklich toll
Nach der guten Erfahrungen mit dem Radisson Blu, Helsinki wurde ich in Tromsö enttäuscht. Einziger Lichtblick - das Frühstück und das Personal im Frühstücksraum.
