The Clarion Collection Hotel Grand Olav is the perfect choice for individuals both on business or leisure. Spacious rooms gives comfortable working conditions combined with high-speed Internet connection for Choice Club members. Flat screen TV and DVD player in all 106 rooms, deluxe rooms and suites. All rates include access to our superb breakfast buffet, free coffee/tea/fruits all day, waffles and light evening buffet. A newly refurbished hotel in a modern atmosphere. Our staff will take good care of you and give you the service you deserve as a frequent guest. Children 12 and under stay free if sharing room with parents or grandparents when no additional bedding is required. Please note that all Choice Hotels Scandinavia are 100 percent non-smoking properties.

A very nice hotel!

The Clarion hotel was very very nice. It was nicer that the same-price hotels we stayed at in the larger cities. The rooms were bigger and more attractive. Our only wish was that we had booked two nights as we miscalculated the amount of time it would take to drive to Trondheim from the Geiranger Fjord and we only had the evening to spend in Trondheim. We walked around the downtown area which was very beautiful. We enjoyed looking at all the yachts and colorful refurbished buildings in the canal. The outdoor cafes and bars along the canal were great to sit at and people watch. Parking was convenient and the city felt safe.
