Los Apus almost cost double
[...] I was provided a room with two twin beds after paying extra for a room with a queen bed, the hotel staff said the hotel was full and no other rooms were available.

Cusco
The hotel is in a good location about 5 minutes walk from the center of Cusco. The front desk staff was helpful and professional. My room was on the small side but very clean with excellent facilities. Breakfast was provided in a small but neat dinning area. Heaters are provided which takes some of the sting out of the coolness associated with the 11,000 ft altitude. The food was simple but well prepared and moderately priced. The hotel has a computer connected to the internet which can be rented by the hour. There is also free wireless connection which comes in handy when booking transportation to and from Cusco. The hotel even picked up my cab fare to the aiport at the end of my stay. The only drawback to the hotel is the early checkout 8am. I tried to negotiate a later check out but was told people were waiting to check in.

I would stay there again. Friendly
I would stay there again. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Located a couple of blocks from the Plaza of Arms where lot of the action is. Only problem is that it can be a little noisy if the other residents don't hold it down. Sure helps for them to hold your bags while going to Machu Pichu. Everything went very well. A little surprised at the early check out time of 8 AM.
