Hilton Cebu Resort Spa

Stayed 2 nights in March 2011. Cost php 8500 for standard room. Just a regular hotel, BUT: the hotel has no taxi agreement, meaning you cannot book a taxi, so you just have to wait and hope that you do not have to wait half an hour or longer depending on the queue. You can request for hotel car, but they will charge you 150%-250% over normal (taxi)fare because they know you have very few options. Internet in the room costs PHP 1000 per night which is ridiculous. Both Waterfront hotel at roomrate PHP4500 and Shangrila at roomrate PHP 15000, the internet access is included/free. At Hilton, there is no wifi in the lobby area. In terms of ambience for bar and dinner/lunch, I would recommend to go to Shangrila.

Staff was friendly, check in smooth, room had a spectacular view. small beach was manicured daily, nice lawn area for relaxing by beach.

We stayed in a one bedroom spa suite and it was really comfortable and nice. The service level was very good too. As for facilities, there are room for improvement. The pool is a bit too small and the kids room can be upgraded cos it looks a bit run down now.

A good hotel with it's own private beach, the sea view rooms offer good views of the pool, garden and beach. The location on Mactan offers limited dining options.

the staffs are friendly but the beach and pool are small. maybe were expecting too much from this hotel. Not that impressive!!!Not much to do in this resort.

In general, it's a nice place with professional service, but here's what I didn't like: the air conditioning on the shuttle bus to the mall was weak, at best, so much so some passengers opened the windows to let the hot air in from outside! Internet access had an additional charge, which was unusually expensive. The only other option: 30-day internet access for around $US80! Nothing in between, and no free wireless in the lobby. The breakfast buffet was fine, but overpriced--not worth the $US30 (in that market). My balcony supposedly had an ocean view but, in reality, only if you stretched your head and body out over the rails. Other than these things (and the small pool, which the beach makes up for), I thought it was a nice place with a pleasant staff.

Ive never herd of such a thing.1 room is double occupancy..Im demanding I be reinbersed.do not send any one there.[...]The seas resturant was 150 usd for 2,was worth about 40 usd

great staff very helpful. i did not have a single problem while i stayed here the staff was very generous with information about the sightd and were to go while not taking me to the bank.

The entire staff was super friendly and went out of their way to make your stay perfect. Started with the front desk staff who upgraded us even without asking for it. The staff at breakfast knew what we want the very next day from heating up the bread just for us to the tea and mangoes. The breakfast selection was phenomenal! The beach was small but big enough to give you the space you need as we had enough privacy. Access to water activities was easy and getting a boat tour to the nearby islands is just next door. The pool was a perfect way to cool you down and was not crowded that you can actually have peace and quiet. They even provided a shuttle to the two major shopping malls in the city that was really convenient. Aside from the restaurant nin the resort, a number of good restuarants were within walking distance including the famous "sutokil" foodie restaurants Cebu is known for. The only negative to this stay was we were unfortunate enough to have the room beside to be "Korea party central" as a bunch of Korean men congregrated at this room and would sing and clap and talk loud between 3 and 5AM. Reported it to the hotel staff but it appeared that no action was taken as they continued their partying until 5AM. But other than that, it was perfect and a whole lot better than going to the mega-resorts nearby.
