The hotel is in an excellent location right across from Glorietta mall and SM Makati with close walking disatnce to Greenbelt mall. Although a little bit older, this hotel makes for a nice stay especially with all the traffic going on in Manila.

Hotel was very cleanand the staff friendly and location excellent.
Only downside was theprice of a car at Php 1,500 per hour when the average cab ride from the street is Php 100. We also enquired as to the price of the hotel car to airport, Php 2,800 when they will call you a cab from the street for Php 300.
As usual for hotels the WiFi cost is ridiculous.
Having said all that it is a hotel I would go back to when I am back in Manila.

Great quality as always from the Shang. Disappointed they would not move me to Makati.

Hotel was as good as always. Only problem was that the folks I was working with had to shift from EDSA to Makati and I was absolutely SHOCKED that the Shang would not move me to that hotel without forcing me to pay for both rooms at the full rate ... essentially a penalty. I expected more from their customer service and may need to rethink my long-term commitment to their brand when I travel, Internationally.

I was misled by the receptionist that my upgrade include the breakfast buffet and i was charged inappropriately. i would suggest that the management train the staff

5 star hotelとのことですが、とてもそうは思えません。室内金庫は全宿泊者がロックをした状態で、そのままでは使用できず、Managerを呼んでリセットが必要でした。冷蔵庫は全く冷えず、苦情を言うと、「これはボトルクーラーで冷蔵庫ではないから冷えない」との答え。全く話になりませんでした。

Hotel 2O is a unique hotel, perhaps too big to be truly 'boutique'. It is located on the waterfront, appropriately, but at the expense of general city access/convenience. The 'water' theme is continually applied, and the Aqua room with fishtank wall, was wonderful - relaxing watching the fish from bed.
But under the gimmicks it's another big chain hotel, at the mercy of its staff and procedures. The good were excellent, some were just trainees (at best).
Excellent breakfast!

The best thing about this place is the staff who are very courteous and willing to help. Make sure you ask for a room on the quiet side (away from the street) assuming you want to get any sleep at all. On both my stays at this hotel I have had problems getting hot water which is a little irritating if not disastrous given that the place is so hot anyway. The area is pretty seedy with lots of girly bars and touts selling viagra but you'll quickly learn how to ignore them.

i would recommend this hotel. Rooms are nice. Very convient because it is next to Robinsons Galleria mall. The only complaint is slow elevator.

The biggest Pro for this hotel is its location, close to everything we visited while we were there. The connection with the Galleria mall also is a plus. Staff were very attentive to our needs, and were courteous. The furnishings though are getting worn and dated. Overall, I guess, OK for the price.

Simply, this hotel was the best to me and has even exceeded my expectation. Staff is so friendly and willing to do everything to keep you happy and feel comfy all the time.The only thing that they need to work on is[...] I was under the impression that everything was included in my prepaid reservation but was shocked when they told me that I had to pay for the internet and the breakfast. I still feel this was extremely unfair and made me to pay too much to add these two items. [...] I would never do a reservation with a hotel without internet included no matter what.Everything else is simply amazing. The ocean view, the cleanliness of rooms, the smiling staff everywhere, the food and the security.I like to return to this fantastic place under only one condition; if internet becomes included in the service.

Its not me who checked in but my Boyfriend's aunt Joannette Rogers who just took a vacation here in Manila, we just stayed there for a night together with my 2 year old son because her aunt asked me, for them to be with their grandson, when we arrived at the hotel first thing my son noticed is the fountain at the lobby which really makes the hotel's facade really accommodating, although the staff is really not that friendly, the fitness center staff is really accommodating and the fitness center and all their facility is good, the room we stayed has a good view of the city and a partial ocean view of manila bay, it is clean, everything is wonderful, they offer a really delicious and great breakfast and with many option to choose from, my son do enjoyed the breakfast too. I wanted to stay here once again some other time with my parents and siblings. Hyatt hotel do have a really good service and one of the world class hotel.

Great New Year getaway

We stayed at the Club deluxe room for the holidays and it was a very good experience in all. The room was clean, although there was a very strong smell of an air freshener that they use, I'm very sensitive with strong scents so they agreed to have us open the window so the smell dissipates. Unfortunately, I think they spray it daily so we had to keep the window unlocked. The amenities were good, including the freebies that come with staying at the Club level, however they need to change their TV's - we had to ask to replace the television twice, once for a picture warping and color fading; and second for what sounded like a short in the back and we thought it might actually catch on fire. They replaced both, with a lot of apologies, so all was well. The view was great, especially for the fireworks in the city. Food was very good, although there are more choices in the restaurant at the 3rd floor than the Club floor. But it was free, so I'm not complaining. We had room service as well and the servers were polite and very prompt. All in all, a good place to stay, very near a lot of malls and transportation was very easy.

The hotel is in good location where you can find anything just few steps from the hotel. Hotel staffs are friendly and they are so kind to upgrade our room to upper level of room type. Room is spacious and clean. Definitely we will stay again for our next trip and recommend to our friends who going to visit Manila.

Everything was excellent and butler service was a great help on recommendations to setting reservations. The buffet is a little expensive but in line with Manila cost. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay when I come back to Manila. By the way , this is our first stay in Pan Pacific. Stayed at Holiday Inn Galleria and Manila Hotel on previous stays.

Great Staff! Room was spacious, clean, and the in-room amenities were a nice touch. Hotel prices for services, including in-room dining, the lobby lounge, and the restaurant were very reasonable. Food and beverage specials were good. Only disappointment, and a major one, in my opinion, was the public spaces are tired and in need of an upgrade. Otherwise, a pleasant stay and a staff willing to please.

ロケーションが良い事と手頃な値段で過去に数回利用しましたが、リニューアル後随分値段が高くなりました。今回スーペリアで４泊しましたが、チェックイン時希望したダブルベッドルームにデラックスしか空きが無く、空き次第連絡するとの事でした。その後再三確認したにもかかわらず最後まで変更不可でした。空が無いのが事実かどうか信じ難く、サービスがまあまあ良いだけに残念でした。次回利用するかどうかわかりません。

Love the location of the hotel and was surprised how nice the hotel really was. I'm impressed and would stay there again. The breakfast buffet however could be a little bit better, especially the price you pay. I think the breakfast at Denny's is better.

The rooms and the public areas are nice. I would have given this hotel a big A if they would solve this one single issue: WiFi internet access.
In the rooms there is no WiFi at all. You need an old fashion wire to connect it with your laptop. In the public areas / lobby there is WiFi (you can get a password for free) BUT the connection is very bad. It is very weak and falls out all the time. Staff wasn't really helpful to do something about it. I think I would stay in the Pan Pacific hotel next time.

Dont expect US Microtel standards

Although new and conveniently located to the Mall of Asia and the Int'l Airport, this "chain" hotel has a long way to go to measure up to US parent Microtel quality. Rooms were rather barren, wood floors throughout, smallish bathrooms , thin walls freely allowed noise from halls and adjoining rooms. . Still some construction going on so this made for additional noise and clutter.Breakfast was ok. Biggest complaint was the wifi service. Slow, spotty and in despite the advertised claims, it is NOT free when accessed in the room --- only free in the lobby. To access it required long and cumbersome ID and password codes that only permitted 3 running hours of use at a time. So if you used it for 15 minutes and then left to outside appointments and returned , you had to go to the front desk and get a new 10 digit ID and 8 digits password. Crazy, backwards--- and not at all business friendly! Maybe these are growing pains--but for the moment it is too painful for my full recommendation.

I found the hotel to be enjoyable and quite comfortable. Usually have back problems in bed but the bed was extra nice. My only problem is not with the hotel but the surrounding environment. Many street people always around asking for money, or trying to buy dollars, or get girls. Being polite is an effort I am sorry to say. Otherwise perfectly happy with the choice of the hotel and would stay there again.

Hotel was nice and very near stores and so on. Staff generally friendly. Hot water also. However, my room was a standard room and thus faced the
street. Very noisy even at night. But other things were quite good. Get a different level room and hotel will be great experience.

G Hotel is nice,clean and cozy(suite room where we're billeted) maybe bec.it's a new hotel (or newly renovated?) We enjoyed spending our New Year's Eve watching fireworks display at our room's veranda.
I just want HotelClub to be more specific with the type of room the client is requesting. There should be follow-up and coordination with the hotel.I don't know whose lapses it is As in my case I made a reservation for two twin sharing beds. I was given one executive suite instead.So the four of us ended sharing one bed with my older son at the sofa. G Hotel is fully booked,so we don't have any choice. The Hotel also run out of buffet breakfast, New Year's day. So we have to go back to our room and wait. Otherwise I'l give the hotel overall good rating.and your(HotelClub) reasonable price!

An Experience in The Phils

There will be no extras at this hotel. The staff is great and the lounge is comfortable. The restaurant is overpriced & food mediocre but good. If one is looking for The Phils experience this could be it. If one is looking for comfort, convenience & the extras go elsewhere. I was wanting to see the real Phils so this hotel suited me but I would not take my family to The Oasis.

It was an impressive and very elegant hotel...I stayed at Manila Hotel for 2 days and we enjoyed the elegant ambiance inside the hotel itself, from hotel lobby up to our room...even hotel staffs are all nice and very accomodating... they are very helpful...although hotel transport is a bit expensive, atleast there is an assurance that you can reach your distination safely.
The Hotel itself is just across the Manila Ocean Park and few minutes drive to the nearest Malls like Robinsons Place Malate and Mall of Asia.
I would absolutely coming back to MAnila Hotel on our next holiday to Manila!!!!

Our stay was ok but outside surroundings was very dirty and smelly and there was no early room service untill 9 am.The food was expensive. but the room was reasonably priced.
