Great staff,food and location.

On the plus side> 1.The exemplary professionalism and courteousness of the staff blew us away. 2.The exceptional high quality of the food here blew us away. 3.The location of the hotel was advantageous to our needs. On the negative side> 1.If this hotel had a swimming pool it would be just awesome. 2.They should fully manage the airport shuttle bus and taxi services and not use 3rd parties. 3.Can't think of a 3rd. After spending 5 nights here with my partner and 1yr old , we were very satisfied with the service we received and feel we got good value for money.The staff always seemed willing to go the extra mile to accomodate our needs.When i return to Manila i see no reason to look elsewhere for a hotel.

Shopping tip: Short drive from hotel

Asia mall isn't too far away but can take up to 2 hours in a taxi at worst due to heavy traffic congestion and offers a good area for spending time at.Manila Zoo isn't the best i've been to but badly needs tourist revenue and still offers value for money.Worth a visit.For teenagers and kids,Star city is a good choice.

Good day to all: Thank you for referring me to New Horizon Hotel. It was indeed great having with my children stayed overnight at that Hotel. They were so accommodating and considerate that we were allowed to early check in without additional charges. Again, Thank you and my you all have a cheerful and bountiful new year.

i reached the hotel at night by

i reached the hotel at night by cab from sm mega mall. the journey took about 5 mins. there was no street lamps outside the hotel so quite unsafe.there were some constructions going on nearby the hotel.

My trip to Manila, Philippines

I stayed with my fiancee there. We have stayed at The Richville Hotel and the Great Eastern prior to the New Horizon. The New Horizon was nice and the breakfast buffet was a very nice touch. The location is very busy and it is extremely hard to catch a cab. If you use the hotel to get a cab it is an additional P50.00 on top of an already scamming cab driver. Word of advice relating to cabs in Manila, always ask them to run the meter, if they won't dont use the cab, they always try to scam American's. The Great Eastern Hotel has been my favorite low rate hotel, rooms range from P1500-P2500. There are excellent resturants on top and bottom of the hotel and it's located on Quezon Ave and extremely easy to catch a cab. My next trip I will go back to the Great Eastern Hotel.

If you in Manila, Philippines and you want to shop your in a right place. There are several high end malls there to choose from. If your interested in saving money ask the cab driver to take you to Greenhills Mall. It is comparable to a huge flea market in the states. You can buy clothes, furniture, locally made items, and electronics. Speaking of electronics make sure you take you ipod, itouch, iphone whatever and you can purchase games, programs, etc for about $5.00 US. Greenhills mall is where the locals shop, expect to be solicited and prepare to bargin, especially if you are American.

Probably the best value for money

Probably the best value for money option in Manila. Friendly staff, big rooms and good facilities. Right across EDSA from Robinson's Mall. Cheap PHP50 surcharge for waiting metered taxis. Good restaurant on site with very acceptable breakfast. Highly recommended for the price.

Zarezerwowałem pokój executive

Zarezerwowałem pokój executive na miejscu dopłaciłem do Royal suite. Piękny salon z sypialnią jak duże dobre mieszkanie. Pyszne śniadania. Rewelacyjnie przyjazna i pozytywnie nastawiona obsługa. Jedyny minus to fatalny dojazd do hotelu ale to już sprawa kierowców taxi , które sa tanie. Polecam ten hotel !!
