The best of Holiday Inn?
Better than any US Holiday Inn I have seen, but not a bargain. For amount paid, would expect some basics. When asked for bar soap and hair conditioner at front desk, non english speaking person sent to room with another of the tubes in the bathtub that is combination body soap, shampoo and conditioner. The 3 other hotels in Poland we stayed in did not have this cheap utilitarian approach.

A large mall is literally across the street from the hotel. Perfect location for picking up gifts for my return trip home.

A Pleasant Stay
A centrally-located hotel with helpful staff, the hotel seemed to cater while I was there to tour groups. My room was quiet and clean. The lack of affordable internet in the room was a small inconvenience, but the internet is free in the lobby (with a password given by the front desk) and so I have no complaints. Within walking distance of the old town . . .

You can buy a sim card for your phone across the street in the large mall . . . inexpensive and handy if you'll be staying in the country for a while.

Holiday Inn , Zlota Street
It was great, except I did not realize that breakfast was not included in my Orbitz package. I sort of assumed it was, this being Europe and all.The first day I went to the breakfast room and, not wanting to search for another place, I ended up paying 82 zlotys (27 dollars) for breakfast. This is exorbitant even by American standards!

Breakfast
Overall, a very nice hotel. Breakfast, however, was a major disappointment. Breakfast was a Buffet. There was no other choice. Either eat the Buffet or go elsewhere. I want to be able to sit down, place an order. Order what I want, like I want and have some one serve it to me. To stand in line, eat what others think is important, done the way others think it should be done is not my kind of Breakfast. Breakfast is supposed to be the most important meal of the day. Give people a choice. My Opinion and that of my wife is that we would not stay there again, and in the future will inquire whether the next Holiday Inn has similar arrangements. For this reason all I cannot recommend it.
