Almost a home away from home
Once I returned to the hotel the second time, the staff recognized me and it felt almost like home away from home. I like returning to the hotel from a busy activity related with my work and like the fact that there are some meny venues in the immediate vicinity to the hotel. 20 minuts walk to the old city district permitedme to visit that beautiful part of Warsaw almost every evening.

Overall, a good experience!
I stayed at the Sheraton for 3 nights after I was done with my business in Lodz and Krakow. The hotel staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help me find a private tour guide for the Chopin's tour (I'm a fan of Chopin's music). The room was spacious (quite a contrast with the Polish run hotel I stayed at in Krakow with a tiny room). My only complaint is the lack of sound-proof. The wall between rooms must be paper thin because I could hear people laughing and joking next room. The second night, they laughed so hard I couldn't sleep. I complained with the front desk and they asked me if I wanted to move to a different room. I didn't want to go through the hassle of packing and moving again, so I didn't take them up on their offer. In retrospect, I should have. I would definitely stay at this hotel again because of the location, close to the Old Town district (20-25 minute walk) as well as the Park with Chopin's statue under the willow tree (I forgot the name already). The room rate was very reasonable compared to other hotels I stayed at in other cities in Poland.

Long walk from hotel
The best restaurant in the Old Towson district was the Bascylicek. Their dishes are reasonably priced yet delicious. Plus, they give you a complementary shot of cherry before giving you the bill (a Polish tradition that most other restaurants nowadays don't do anymore!)

Weekend stay at Sheraton Warsaw
We stayed on the club level which was quite nice. This provided access to the club room with free breakfast and free snacks all day. Additionally, there were free alcoholic beverages in the evening. The rooms were kept very clean and the amenities were all very nice.

This was the most comfortable hotel bed we have ever had. We were given executive status which included free Internet, snacks and beverages all day, excellent treatment by the hotel staff. I loved this hotel.

The buffet breakfast was very good, but pricey if you do not have it included in the price of your room.
