Wir waren vom 14.-23.10.2011 im Hotel Pestana einquartiert. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich; die Reception hat sich immer sehr bemüht (Abschlagszeiten reservieren etc.). Das Zimmer ist i.O.; entspricht jedoch nicht 5 Sternen. Im Zimmer unserer Bekannten waren jedoch die Vorhänge zerlöchert. Die Pool-Anlage ist unsauber und ungepflegt. Die Liegestühle sind dreckig und viele sind defekt. Überall liegen Zigarettenstummel herum und Geschirr wird nicht abgeräumt. Das Personal im Frühstücksbereich ist sehr, sehr unfreundlich. Hier fragt man sich: wer ist Gast? Auch hier ist alles dreckig und ungepflegt. Eindeutig fehlt im ganzen Hotel die FÜHRUNG. Die Mitarbeiter werden überhaupt nicht überwacht und es interessiert niemanden. Auch unser Feedback vor Ort hat nichts bewirkt; man ist nicht einmal darauf eingegangen. Ähnliche Erfahrungen haben wir auf Port Santo in einem Pestana gemacht. Unser Fazit: never again Pestana!!!

The hotel Quarteirasol reopened totally renovated as a modern 4 star hotel, being an excellent choice for those who whish to be close to the beach, to amusement and to relax, being the ingredients for a fabulous holiday in the Algarve, in a comfortable and familiar hotel. The entire interior of the hotel Quarteirasol was carefully decorated, offering an ambiance of comfort and well being. The main Lobby with its soft, sober and detailed decoration and where is located the reception (open 24 hrs), is also composed by various cosy areas with comfortable sofas and the piano bar. At guest disposal there are also the white and black bar with a pool view and the restaurant Mourisco with an offer of Mediterranean dishes. A heated outdoor pool, a health club with gym, sauna and Turkish Bed are complement of the stay of our guests.
