Modern and comfortable, the first "All Inclusive" in Madeira, the 5 star Enotel Lido Resort Conference & Spa Hotel, is located in the main tourist area, above the ocean with direct access to the ocean front promenade and just 5 minutes from the centre of Funchal.
There are 317 comfortable rooms available, including balcony with a ocean view, air conditioning, cable TV, Pay TV, hairdryer, mini bar, separate bath and shower, Room Service, coffee and tea making facilities, bathrobes, telephone with direct outside line and voicemail facility and there are also 47 Suites with a Jacuzzi and a wonderful frontal sea view. The hotel has wheelchair access to all areas with especially adapted rooms available for those in wheelchairs.
Three unique thematic restaurants, means there is no real need to leave the hotel for anything - the cuisine of each one is delicious and the perfect opportunity to try the local dishes, Italian cuisine or Japanese food. The main restaurant "Atlntico", offers a wonderful and a variety buffet service.
Enotel Lido has 3 swimming pools; one indoor heated pool and two outdoors, one separated for children.
In the Health Club there is a gym and a cardio fitness room fully equipped.
In its infrastructure, the hotel offers, games area, business center with free internet
access, wifi, 24 hour medical service and Sports Bar. There is also a free covered parking, Hairdresser and shops.

- Superior Room
- Situated on the west side of the hotel on floors two to four, these 27m2 rooms have a balcony - overlooking the sea and swimming pool - furnished with two chairs and a table. The individually air-conditioned rooms include a living area furnished with a sofa-bed, two armchairs and a table, and can accommodate up to three adults, or two adults and two children sharing the sofa bed. The bathroom has a separate bathtub and shower.
- Junior Suite
- These rooms have two balconies (one overlooking the sea) for double the views. The main balcony has two chairs and a table, making it the ideal place to relax. Situated on floors three to ten, on the west and east side of the Hotel, the individually air-conditioned Suites have a separate living room with a sofa bed, two armchairs and a table, as well as a dining table with four chairs. The bathroom, has a separate bathtub and shower.
- Triple Room
- These 24m2 rooms are situated on floors one to ten, and have a private balcony with a sea or pool view, furnished with two chairs and a table. The rooms are individually air-conditioned, and incorporate a living area with two armchairs and a table. The bathroom has a separate bathtub and shower.
- Standard Deluxe Room
- Situated on floors one to ten, these spacious 24m2 rooms have a private balcony overlooking the sea or the pool, furnished with two chairs and a table. The living area includes two armchairs and a table, as well as a 30-channel cable TV. The bathroom has a separate bathtub and shower. The De Luxe Standard Room can accommodate up to two adults and a baby.

In Hotel
Madeira WiFi is a free service (not sure for how long). The signal can be had at the southern side of the pool; also in a cafe just outside the hotel, and in the public areas adjacent to the ocean. The small cafe (leave the hotel by the pool's side, and then turn right... Cheap coffee, beer, and sweets/snacks...

gut gelegenes Hotel; ansprechende
gut gelegenes Hotel; ansprechende saubere Zimmer; sehr gute Betten. Einziger Negativpunkt: durch die zahlreichen Pauschaltouristen macht das Restaurant (auch Frühstück) eher den Eindruck eines Speisesaales mit hektischem Personal. Daher würde ich dem Hotel eher 4 als 5 Sterne geben.
