staff s very nice but everyone acts as if this is their first day on a job. so you can imagine when you put it all together. One very embarrassing incident was when we asked reception to send someone to help us with our bags - two young fragile and friendly girls came to drag our suitcases... One does not know what to do in situation like this... very awkward you don;t want to say nothing yet you feel you should not call for help... Also star rating is off here this is not and can not be 5 star. First wen you arrive glass door are shut closed no one to help open you have a bunch of bags... then just after you entered there is a flight of stairs?! Where did you see 5 star hotel with set of stairs and doors shut closed with no one to peon for you... Hotel is stylishly decorated but it is obvious that this was done by someone who have never been in hotel himself... Things must be "user friendly" functional etc. For example you have clean bathroom but imagine shower without a place to put soap or gel or shampoo it's got to go on the floor and you can easily slip etc. stylish but no function. In addition all sinks are huge water splashes all over walls someone who have never seen functional normal bathroom designed this... stylish but no function. In addition they advertise as wi-fi hotel but it is not working and staff did not know this till day or two later.. they are all nice but confused and see disoriented!

not very comfortable for any walk on the top of the hill and just too hard to walk up. No taxi driver in Lisbon knows where is this place so they drive you around. I just don't know I gave them the address and each time they wonder and leave me at the wrong place then I direct them which results in a higher fee certainly! I don't recommend this hotel for people who want to be closer to the center. If you want to be isolated it is fine but the hill is so steep that you will hardly be able to climb it to reach this place!
