Cars Beware

This was my second stay at this hotel. The rooms were more spacious and modernized than they were last year in 2010. Breakfast was included and is mediocre. The breakfast staff avoided me after I asked for more coffee and weren't prompt about cleaning up after customers during the busy hours of the morning. The area is convenient to the San Sebastian metro station, a beautiful walk/bike path and shopping at El Corte Ingles. There is a cafe doors away from the hotel that has quick and convenient meals. I do warn any visitors that the hotel's parking garage is ridiculously small even by New York standards and while street parking is pretty good in the quiet neighborhood, our car was broken into while parked almost in front of the hotel door! The reception staff was not helpful in giving directions, sympathy or support about the situation.

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

Spend a day at El Corte Ingles! It's enormous and is a shopper's dream. You can even see a movie or grab lunch or dinner at one of the restaurants.
