Generally a good all-round hotel
My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in August. On the whole our experience was positive. Location is just 3 minutes walk from the Metro station and buses stop on the road outside so access to most city locations is easy. Room was tidy and the cleaners folded and stacked loose clothing which I had left lying on the floor. All staff members greeted us and smiled as we passed in the corridors. Pool area is quiet and served by polite attendants. WiFi is available - for a price - in your room but free networked computers can be accessed 24-hours on the ground floor (this wasn't pointed out to us when we inquired about WiFi availability). Breakfast is great but - unless it if part of your package deal - is quite expensive. We were over-charged for our two breakfasts so be sure to check your final bill carefully before settling when you check out.

Return to Lisbon
The hotel was very nice. There was a large open area lobby and beautiful Sky Bar. The view of the city from the terrace was awesome. Didn't find time to dine at the hotel, but would have liked to do so. The bed were very comfortable. On a negative, there were stains on the carpet and dust on the overhang in the bathroom.

Hotel Close to all the Fun
We stayed at this hotel during the few days that we explored Lisbon. We found the service to be exceptional. They did seem to have issues with their computers in the business center. They had four computers but only two were functional. Actually, I never understand why these hotels don't add a few dollars to their already expensive rates and provide free Wifi. It was a very nice hotel. Great service. The only improvement would be the computer services and expensive Wifi access.

Great hotel, very nice staff
The hotel Tivoli liberdade is well located at Avenida Liberdade, with a metro station within a few yards. The staff is always there to help you and all the main attractions in downtown Lisbon at a walking distance. It sounds like the hotel was just renewed as you could smell fresh painting, which was not that pleasant. I'd definitely recommend and stay again at the Tivoli Liberdade

Buy the Lisboa Card - you can ride all public transportation for 72 hours with a fixed price. You can buy the card on the Internet and pick it up at the airport info center or you can buy it at the info counter as well.

Great location, good price
Superb location to see and revisit Lisbon. In the very center of the city, near day and night life and shops. Buses and taxis to airport are cheap. Food topnotch, but moderately expensive. Room excellent. Hotel service was topnotch. Physically, a very nice hotel lobby and greeting room. Sits alongside of the broad Avenue da Liberdade, near to the park at Pombal in one direction and the river and sea on the other. My 2nd stay, one of my very favorites.

We stayed in Tivoli Lisbon Hotel
We stayed in Tivoli Lisbon Hotel for 5 days for my birthday. We arrived late in the evening. Reception was very friendly. We even got free coupon to drink coktail in Skybar (nice view, relaxed ambiance). Breakfast was in a beautifull room (braserie Flo), very good choice of food and friendly staff. Pool was good because it was hot in the city. Only there were not enough chairs for all guests. That is the only little remark I can make. For the rest, it was just PERFECT!

A junior suite with a plastic
A junior suite with a plastic curtain in the bathroom......... Do I need to say more? A partly damaged lavatoryseat maybe? The constant unfriendly distant people behind reception and in the breakfastroom. Free internet only if you become participent of chain..... Wheren"t there any plusses??? Ok then, George Cloony coffeemachine (bad for the environment though) and the I-pod facilities. After the incredible experience on Madeira (The Vinehotel) this hotel felt like an ice-cold shower.
