A gorgeous romantic boutique hotel, housed in a converted Carmelite Convent, one of the few buildings that remained after the 18th century earthquake that destroyed Lisbon. Latest refurbished in 2007 with the contemporary lines, timeless, recreating the elements of 17th century architecture. A long staircase of ancient stone steps climb from street level, to a surprising and exclusive inner terrace, surrounded by lush greenery and the 17th century facade, providing a unique ambience and a sensation of tranquility.

Restaurant is closed in January 2012 for refurbishments!! Re-opening on February 1st 2012!! Working with daily fresh products brought directly from the market to our kitchen, our chef is pleased to present a seasonal menu taking advantage of the flavours and best conditions of each ingredient. Located on the ground floor of the York House Lisbon with a view over the city garden terrace, classic decoration where the Portuguese tiles have an important role, as well as the wide windows.

Bon choix

Accueil un peu froid mais hotel très bien situé et chambre plutôt bien équipée. Le cadre est très joli (ancien monastère).

Un peu de caractère

Le couvent est chaleureux, dans un quartier très calme près de l'ambassade française. la cour idéal les beaux jours, Au dela, nous avons eu une chambre sans caractère, alors que je recherchai un environnement, une atmosphère.. Autre grand défaut, l'insonorisation, le Room service et la restauration fermé.

とても雰囲気のいいホテルでした　バスタブがあれば最高です　ス

とても雰囲気のいいホテルでした　バスタブがあれば最高です　スーツケースで行ったのですが、最初に緩やかな階段がけっこうあります　ポーターはいるのですがチェックインの際は夜だったせいか、自分たちで持って上がらないといけませんでした　たまたま私たちはそのホテルに滞在してたヨーロッパの男性２人がちょうど観光から帰ってきたところで階段の上まで持ってあがってくれました　彼らがいなかったら、自分たちで重いスーツケースを持って上がるのは無理だったと思います　チャックアウトの際はポーターが階段下まで持って降りて れました
