- Front Ocean View
- Front ocean view rooms offer private balconies with direct and front ocean views. All rooms have 39m2 and are equipped with individual air-conditioned/heated system, cable TV, sitting area and desk, trouser press, tea and coffee making facilities, free safe, mini-bar and Wi-Fi. The room service is available around the clock. Maximum capacity is of 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults.
- Superior Family Room
- This room has 51m2 and two complete separate and private sleeping areas, having one of them a king size bed and private balcony overlooking the Ocean and the other one two individual beds and window with panoramic view over the Hotel grounds. The Family Superior Room offers individually controlled air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, minibar, free safe, press trousers, cable tv, video on demand, wireless, en-suite bathroom with hydro massage bath, bathrobes and slippers. Excellent Hotel
This was a super stay ... 7 nights from 21 Oct. Stayed on 7th floor with fabulous ocean view. I would have no hesitation recommending this hotel. It was wonderful .... faultless.

Lido is a quiet spot ... Funchal is not for those looking for a wild time.

Grosse Anlage, gute Leistung
Gute Anreisemöglichkeit mit dem Mietauto, grosse Hotelvorfahrt und Platz zum Ausladen des Gepäcks, anschliessend Auto in Tiefgarage (keine Zusatzkosten). Hotelzimmer (Garden Side Sea View) grosszügig und mit Balkon, die Sicht in den Garten und auf das Meer waren sehr schön. Das Frühstückbuffet ist sehr lecker und umfangreich, sowohl kalt und warm. Das Service-Personal war freundlich, die Lobby-Angestellten waren OK, sind aber nicht positiv aufgefallen (kein Wort beim Auschecken, z.B. Frage nach Aufenhalt oder so). Die Putzfrau hat jeden Morgen in den Nachbarzimmern einen heiden Lärm veranstaltet, mit knallenden Türen und weiss ich nicht was. War aber zum Glück nur von kurzer Dauer.

nur 100 Schritte vom Hotel, auf der anderen Strassenseite (Estrada Monumental 238) befindet sich das "Chalet Vicente", das beste Restaurant, das wir in einer Woche Funchal gefunden haben! Schöne Terrasse mit verschiedenen Bereichen, Top Service, fantastische Küche, etwas höhere Preise, die es aber Wert sind!

Bon hôtel et bonne restauration. Personnel très agréable et serviable. Pas trop loin du centre à pied profitant d'un environnement très calme(séjour en novembre). Les alentours sont agréables ainsi que les belles randonnées en montagne.

Haben 6-Nächte im Hotel verbracht und wahren sehr zufrieden mit der ganzen Anlage, dem Personal und dem gebuchten Zimmer.

Merveilleux
Un très bon séjour avec un passage à l'an 2013 tout simplement parfait. Feu d'artifice vu du haut de la terrasse de la tour 2 pour une vue encore plus fantastique. De très bons moment, une vue magnifique sur l'océan. Le meilleur emplacement de l'île pour des vacances de rêve.

Rien à signaler de particulier mise à part qu'il faut vraiment passer par le restaurant MOHLE en face le casino sur la marina (une vue fantastique sur Funchal).

Huijauksen makua
Minibaari oli puolillaan mennessämme ja täytettiin puolessa välissä lomaamme. Emme käyttäneet minibaarin tuotteita mutta, lähtiessämme yrittivät veloittaa täytöstä. Jouluillan ja joulupäivän ruokailuun kuuluneet juomat yritettiin veloittaa erikseen, vaikka ne listan mukaan kuuluivat aterioihin. Listaan vedoten ja pitkän selvittelyn jälkeen emme kuitenkaan joutuneet niitä maksamaan.

Paremmasta päästä, kokemukseni mukaan
Arviota laskee pienen pienet mustat eliöt, jotka löysivät yön aikan illalla jätetyn tuoremehu lasin. Onneksi oli viimeisen yön tapahtuma. Muuten oltaisiin vaadittu toista hotellia. Henkilökunta piti huoneen siistinä, Juomalasien kanssa oli koko ajan ongelmia, ei ollut hammaspesumukeja ja jos käytti yhtä juomalasia niin se oli viety ja tilalle ei tullut uutta.
