With more than 20 years in tourism business, this popular facility is located in a functional building in the centre of Ponta Delgada city, major city in Azores Island. Located in the heart of Ponta Delgada where plenty of tourism interested points are in walking distance, like downtown, University, threatre, library, public gardens and shopping centre.

not what I was expecting

one thing that you must remember when booking a hotel in europe is that the star system is very different from north american standard. I cannot say any thing bad about this hotel because I should have known better.The location is not bad , very easy walk to the center of town and very close to the big mall. The staff was super friendly and very helpfull. The room,furniture,bathroom,and television is all very old not the type of room one from north america would feel very comfortable in.I would not recommend this room to canadians or americans even though it was very clean and the people were great. We ended canceling our reservation and moved to another hotel.besides the hotel issue the holiday was wonderful.This is a very beautiful pristine place that must be seen. If you are a nature lover this is the place.Go before it gets spoiled by the big cruise ships and hordes of tourists.

hire a taxi for a day and see the whole island or break it up and see it over two days.You can also use the local buses they are very good and cheap.Its easy to walk around very safe and the people are wonderfull.
