good, but tries to sneak in charges
Overall the hotel was good, comfortable, easy to be there for 8 days. but they charge way too much for water (even by hotel standards) and at the end of the week, they snuck in lots of extra charges which in my mind were definitely not by accident. they double charged for a tour and room service they just added random items at will.

Great location, great service
From the time I entered, the staff were friendly and attentive. The rooms are well appointed, although it's perhaps been a few years since they were last updated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. Make sure you leave time to visit the rooftop swimming pool and sauna!

If you're not traveling with a laptop, avoid the business center (at 15 euros per hour) and head down the block to Internet Cafe Argo, where you'll pay 10% the price. To get there, go out the hotel's main entrance, take a right at the big traffic circle onto Bul. Regina Elizabeta. It's on the righthand side of the street about 15 meters past the intersection with Strada Academiei.
