Moscow SVO
The hotel was clean and functional - good rooms, good restaraunt and can easily walk to SVO in five minutes. Check-in was friendly, and quick. They even gave me a cover for my passport and made me feel happy to be there. THe room furniture was not real comfortable but the bed was. Would stay there again.

Novotel Sheremetievo Moskow
Convenient location, good service. Shuttle to the airport was on time. Paid $160 for night but I think, that $30 for breakfast was a bit excessive

"Brave/Not So Brave" Russian Tourist
Great for SVO early flights!
Very clean, modern hotel with shuttle to SVO airport terminals every 30 minutes all day and night! (You can walk the distance, over a highway, in 5-7 minutes from the Aerotrain or terminal.) Spacious room with hairdryer & coffee maker met our needs for 6am flight. Separate charge for breakfast, but we didn't eat. Given LONG, EXPENSIVE taxi rides to/from downtown Moscow, we spent our last night at Novotel to make the flight home.

DO NOT STAY HERE IF PLANNING TO SIGHTSEE IN MOSCOW! Our 3 nights in a downtown hotel 2 blocks from the Bolshoi Theater were perfect for being tourists. Travel by cab from SVO to city center can take 2+ hours!! Of course, only the brave and patient should attempt being tourists in this complex, non-English-speaking, city with no English signage and few helpful people.

TOO QUIET TO BE THAT CLOSE TO AIRPORT
VERY NICE HOTEL. STAFF WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND SPOKE PERFECT ENGLISH. BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD BUT PRICEY, BUT HEY TO BE THAT CLOSE TO THE AIRPORT WITH FREE SHUTTLE TO TERMINAL. ESPECIALLY IF YOU GO TO MOSCOW.LOL. YOU DONT GO ANYWHERE FAST IN RUSSIA. THERE IS A TRAIN TO MAIN SUBWAY FORM AIRPORT ALSO. VERY FAST. 35 MINUTES TO BROWN LINE IN SUBWAY. SO I THINK IT IS FASTER AND CHEAPER THAN TAXI. WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYBODY. ACTUALLY BETTER THAN HOLIDAY INN IN RUSSIA. I HAVE STAYED AT BOTH.

Short drive from hotel
IF ONLY STAYING IN MOSCOW. I WOULD STAY THERE AND TAKE TRAIN TO SUBWAY LINES FROM AIRPORT. ABOUT 600 FEET WALK TO GET TO TRAIN. IT GOES ABOUT EVERY 1/2. STAY ON UPPER FLOORS. I DID NOT HEAR ANY JETS AT ALL UNTIL I WALKED OUT THE FRONT DOOR TO LEAVE.

Nice hotel and very close to airport which is what we wanted. Hotel also offers free shuttle to and from hotel which saves you from being taken advantage of from the cab drivers!! Iron was broken but when we called the desk we had a new one within 15 minutes. Bed was comfortable and room was small but nice and clean. Internet expensive-1hr=$10.50, and breakfast buffet expensive as about $32.00 /person.

Comfortable airport hotel
We selected the hotel for a quick overnight for a connecting flight from SVO1 to SVO2. The hotel check-in was quick, room was small, but very comfortable and we appreciated the complimentary coffee/tea service and bottled water. Great water pressure in the shower. We didn't have time to sample the breakfast buffet (about $30 USD PP). Only complaint was the shuttle service from domestic airport (SVO1)only runs once an hour and that's not indicated at their shuttle pick-up point. The driver did not assist with loading luggage. Shuttles from the hotel run every 15 minutes to SVO2 and the trip takes about 5 minutes. It is not a good option for a homebase hotel to explore Moscow.

Grab a taxi to the hotel if you're arriving at the domestic terminal and you've missed the previous shuttle...especially late night. It's too far to walk and you wouldn't want to walk by yourself in the area between the airport and hotel.
