My wife and I arrived at the hotel around 0100 after a 7 hour flight from Melbourne. Check in and getting to our room was okay, but not as fast as I would expect when we seemed to be the only guests around. Little description or information about restaurants in the hotel, and where we might get a cup of coffee in the morning; the hotel appeared reluctant to accept we did not want a full breakfast. We have been to Singapore several times before and really just wanted a good couple of nights sleep. Okay location - just off Orchard Road - which I prefer to the new hotels. Two pools; preferred the smaller one.

Excellent buffet lunch at the Swiss Restaurant in the Raffles Centre. Drinks expensive, but sadly wine is expensive everywhere in Singapore, as indeed are most things. Singapore too prosperous, and Sterling too weak!

Great location. Has a style that is missing in most modern hotels. The offer of free parking makes this hotel quite economical even is the apparent price is a little higher.

We were looking for a hotel with
We were looking for a hotel with character as opposed to the usual predictable 5* hotels and the Goodwood Park was a fantastic choice. Situated conveniently just 5 mins from Orchard Rd, the location was ideal. Rooms are huge, very spacious and immaculately clean and all of the staff were most polite and very helpful. If you are looking for a stylish, classy hotel with a bit of character, then you can not do better than here! Highly recommended and we will certainly stay here again when next in Singapore!

Great at Any Price
We stayed here only one night before boarding our cruise ship, but we found the location (on Scott Rd near Orchard) to be superb, next door to Marriott. The gentleman who checked us in personally escorted us to our room, which turned out to be a junior suite instead of just a small hotel room. This hotel is a classic property in the old style but seems to be in excellent condition.

We had an excellent 2 night stay
We had an excellent 2 night stay in this delightful hotel. The service was outstanding, the food excellent and the location perfect. A grand Hotel with considerable style. We will stay again.
